Best practice: Adding new ads to existing ad sets?
3 questions for all you Facebook Marketing experts:
1. When I have an ad set that is running really well but want to add new ads to it. Is it best practice to start a new ad set or just add them to the existing one? New ad set would mean overlapping audiences. Same ad set could mean the new ads won't be served much since existing ads are already performing.
2. I have multiple Lookalikes running: For fans of my FB fan page, for website visitors, for email uploads etc. All lookalikes of different audiences but I'm sure there is quite a bit of overlap in audience. Best practice to just run 1 lookalike (best-performing) with higher budget or multiple lookalikes? Multiple lookalikes could mean overlap, but it could also broaden the overall audience.
3. The dilemma when you have a well-performing ad but need some fresh design to switch things up for the consumer (ad fatigue). The old ad has collected many comments, shares, likes etc. I know there is a way to just post an ad like post to your facebook wall and then link that to the ad. Does anyone have a good guide online for that?
Puh... Loaded questions. Any help is appreciated!!!
