Specific questions about CPA offers on Facebook & YouTube

I'm trying to get my head wrapped around buying traffic for CPA offers and I can't seem to find a definitive answer to these specific questions (maybe there are no definitive answers...).

Anyway, I'm making a decision on whether to concentrate my efforts on Facebook or YouTube and getting an answer to these questions would certainly help.

I'll preface these questions by saying I understand that sometimes (usually?) it is better to link to a landing page than to direct link to the offer page. But my questions and concerns are more along the lines of how YT and FB look at affiliate/CPA offers (and/or affiliate marketers) in general.

Also, while most of these questions can be answered in just one or two words, any extra info will be appreciated! Here goes:

1. Is it NECESSARY to use a landing page with FB ads if advertising a CPA offer?

2. Is it NECESSARY to use a landing page with YT ads if advertising a CPA offer?

3. In regards to either #1 or #2, does it just depend on the specific CPA offer?

For the last 3 questions, please consider the following two traffic flows (both of which always use a landing page obviously):

(A) ad -> landing page (with an opt-in form) -> thank you page (containing instructions on how to get the lead magnet plus a link to the actual offer)

(B) ad -> landing page (with an opt-in form) -> redirect to the actual offer (and email them instructions on how to get the lead magnet)

4. Is either A or B better with FB ads?

5. Is either A or B better with YT ads?

6. Does it matter if the website the landing page is on contains "useful content" (e.g. articles or info of some sort) or is just having the minimum pages (e.g. landing page, disclaimer, TOS, Contact, About, etc.) good enough?
