I'm giving away a free ebook to get people to sign up to my list. It is a mini ebook - about 30 pages. I'm not sure whether to call it a book or a report - has anybody tested which converts better? I can test it myself later on, but I'd rather get it right the first time. Also I'm going to send traffic to my landing page from google adwords (display network). But I'm sure people who click on my ad will wonder why the book is being given away for free since it's associated with a paid ad. Do you think there's disconnect there? How would you deal with a what's-the-catch objection?
