Whats the best way to promote "Free IPhone" Offers

Hello,

Whats the best way to promote "Free IPhone" Offers (Email Submit that pays 1,20$)

I thinking about promoting this kind of offer through ppc and a custom made landingpage. What do you think of that and can you give me some advice? It's my first CPA campaign so it would be really nice if you can help me a little

Not for nothing, but that is probably going to be tough for your first campsign. There is quite a bit of competition for iphone related keywords and considering its an email submit with scrubbing, you will NEED to get cheap clicks to go anywhere. I would suggest targeting on content network or using long tail keywords.

Try getting free traffic as well. Wont get as much traffic using free, but paid traffic will likely be hard to get a good margin.

Good luck though and welcome to the cpa world...its a great one!

The best thing I feel is to search for all people looking for a free iphone using flashtweet and then mass follow them. Once you mass follow, you can send them a direct message with a free iPhone offer. But, I don't know the tool for sending mass direct messages to your twitter friends.

thanks alot for your helpful replies. It seems that iphone offers a very hard to start with cpa marketing. What kind of offer would you reccommend me to start my first cpa campaign? budget is about 500$

Get your toes wet in ppc but dont go overboard since $500 isnt a huge budget, especially when you are completely new to PPC.

Spend a good amount of time on some free traffic methods like youtube, classifieds etc. You can still make good money that way. WHile you are doing that, spend time reading up on PPC and monitoring your ppc campaigns. Be sure to set budgets reasonably on all campaigns

Instead of iphone offers, why don't you try short form-fills that pay you around $10-$40 for every customer. I have been doing this for over a year now and very successful, also you can afford to do ppc on this as the payout is much higher.

I always tell the newbs I help to not start with a zip/email submit in PPC. Maybe SEO but not PPC. It is too unstable to learn PPC on IMO.

clcrax23, is it ok to cloak an ad when replying to an email? Is this invalid by most CPAs? What would this method be called, just so I can see if it is valid to use. Just want to make sure this is legit to do here. Anyone use this method?

Traffic from unapproved sources can get you banned in seconds, especially if you are converting at an unreasonable rate. Try and stay no better than 1 in 50 and you should be good.

Also, do NOT blank your referrer. New accounts with blanked out referrers that convert well is an instant red flag.

As far as traffic goes, I'd go social networks all the way for free phone offers. Also craigslist works well. With craigslist, you want to market it in the "FREE" section but don't market it as an offer. Basically you want an ad that says something like:

"I just won an i-phone and believe it or not, I already have one I just got a few months back...I have no use for it and I got no one close to me to give it to. First taker who is willing to pick it up (I don't have a car), gets it."

Obviously you have to work on the ads a bit but something like that should work fine. When they respond to your ad, your reply to them should have this twist:

"Hey...sorry but I got like 200 replies since the ad was posted. The phone went to the first taker like the ad said. Believe it or not, I got the phone from this website (cloaked link). I never really thought they'd send it (most of those sites are scams) but a few weeks later, the thing was in my mailbox. I almost puked when I saw it. Anyway, check it out if your interested and if not, good luck."

The reply sounds great and should get a very high CTR. Again, please make sure that Craigslist/email marketing is allowed by your offer or else your work will be worthless.

That method is worth ALOT...use it carefully and enjoy your CPA millions

    good luck.
The problem with this method is that it has been overdone to death on Craigslist. Any mention that you want to get rid of an iphone that you won or any other "typical" freebie on Craigslist, and your ad will be flagged almost immediately. If you want to use Craigslist, you need to be more creative.
