Ads on Pop-under network - danger of rank penalty from Google?

Hi

I am running an e-commerce website for ordering high-end nightgowns , so straight ecommerce (not adult, not gambling etc.). We have great ranking on Google currently. We need to increase traffic and are looking for unconventional sources.

What are the dangers of running PPV pop-under ads on Admaven or other ad networks? Is there the possibility that we get down-ranked by Google because we advertise on pop-under ads?

Can we have a regular e-commerce page as the pop-under, or better create thin landing pages?

Can you recommend pop-under networks for Eastern Europe traffic?

Thanks for your help.

You as an advertiser will not get any penalty, only publishers can be penalize by Google. But i'm also working with Admaven as a publisher and now they started using interstitial ads that are compliant with Google Ad Experience rules so there shouldn't be any problem with them anyway.
