Building a lead pipeline by advertising on Reddit can pay off big-time, but it is not for amateurs. Never directly advertise your MLM company or even mention you are involved in network marketing. They have a well-known and active disdain for marketers and advertisers in general, and extremely so in particular for MLM and network marketers. Sort of like the Warrior Forum.

Your best chance is to advertise with allusive reference to your portfolio of relevant content such as your blogs, Facebook, Twitter, Warrior Forum posts and published articles to establish credibility, although finding a good subreddit (or category) is the majority of the work. These categories are organized around every conceivable topic and interest. Avoid advertising on the front page - it is wildly untargeted.

I have found that ads which solicit comments on humorous and controversial topics or events to be very effective for getting viral exposure, publicity and subscribers. In essence, your ad should look just like a Reddit post. Be sure you watch all of your ads for comments that you may need to respond to right away. Also, it's best to use a squeeze page or stand-alone landing page which shows no connection to your MLM company.

Why would you be looking into advertising on Reddit?

Aren't you already doing ecom, PPC, Facebook ads, SEO, Blogging, Directory links, PTC websites, ecom dropshipping, bitcoin, and email marketing?

I haven't tried reddit ads yet, but even without those you can still market/advertise your product/services on reddit. Just a note thought, be sure it does not get considered as spam. Write on specific sub reddits which you think your product/service can be helpful.

Reddit ads, huh? I haven't tried marketing there yet. Could be worth a shot. It doesn't hurt to try new channels, right? Usually I have someone make ad copies for Google and Facebook, though with all the commotion surrounding Facebook is giving me second thoughts. I'll take myob's advice for you in mind. Better tell my freelancer if he's got experience on this.

Reddit gives you 1000 impressions for $5, which sounds cheap but it really depends on how good your ad copy is and how well your landing page converts, Reddit ads can definitely work, you just have to have the right offer for the right subreddit.

maybe try organic on Reddit first and compare to other organic sources. that could give you some assessment for your niche

I think it's better to be active and participate in a subreddit that has lots of active users. Connect with your potential client and establish your authority.

Honestly, who is on Reddit these days?
I keep hearing and finding videos of people who recommend Reddit but I still have to meet somebody who spends time socializing on it.

I would recommend learning Facebook ads. They are amazing. You don't even need to pay for a course. Start looking for free training on Youtube. There are tons and tons of good videos

Reddit is a tech savvy community so just advertising your product straight won't do any good for you. You need to first educate them with the stuff you are promoting and only then you can smartly try to promote stuff. It's hard via Reddit ads atleast as I am yet to hear success stories of people using Reddit ads for promoting their products.

If done right, in a subreddit with a suitable audience for your product/service. Be active with valuable info, don't just try selling.
