How can I test to see if the Facebook pixel is reporting accurate data?

We recently ran a small test ad campaign for our e-commerce site. The ad had a promo code for 50% school products and had a link to a school products page on our site. Facebook is reporting that we made about $950 from this ad. However, when I went into Shopify, I was surprised to find out that 0 visitors had used the promo code. This makes me very doubtful that Facebook is reporting conversion value accurately.

    You may want to contact their help support to straightened out this issue. I have been reading FB ads and learned that their tracing differs from 3rd-party tracking tools.

    the easiest way to do so is to do a test purchase yourself with the promo and see if it registers
