Why are my AdWords ads returning 404's with [*Campaign*] in the url?

When you search for our brand name on Google on mobile you get an AdWords ad - when you click through it you get a 404 page and this url (actual landing page url appears before this):
/?ds_c=[*Campaign*]&gclid=Cj0KCQjwov3nBRDFARIsANgsdoHj-GGlgVpb9eb_emtrEIc0WONDj5jH2MBfjzulw-3QCAJyK7xY2nwaArXmEALw_wcB

I've compared it with search urls that work and they either don't have the "ds_c=" or they do have it and it doesn't have anything between the "=" and the "&" (e.g. ds_c=&). Here is an example of a working url:
/?gclid=Cj0KCQjwov3nBRDFARIsANgsdoGj6ve-wwxWzv9iTHjydoEkg1cP1V8l-59ijcWkR9RlltkNklQvC2AaAtQQEALw_wcB

Here are the facts so far:
-Only occurs on mobile
-Only occurs on certain browsers (seems to be only Chrome + Safari)
-Seems to be impacting responsive search ads
-The offending url's all had [*Campaign*] following "ds_c="

Anyone had this issue themselves or have an idea of how to fix this/locate the issue?

Thanks,

Dom.

And where do you "get that Adwords ad" that you click on when you do a search?
Do you get the same result using different keywords?
    Did you ask Google?
