How to promote affiliate product?

Hello warriors,

I have selected a product for affiliate marketing but I am stuck at one thing.
Should I use the landing pages which my selected affiliate program is offering or should I create my own landing page?
Which approach will be best?
If I am using landing page offered by my selected affiliate program then should I promote it from my facebook profile or should I create a seperate facebook fan page and and then promote it?
If I create a seperate fan page, then what name should I give it to it? Or I can give any name of my choice?

In 2nd scenario, If I create my own landing page to promote my selected affiliate product, then can I run google ads for it? (Will it be a good idea?)
If I create my own landing page, how can I include hop link in url?

    Drive traffic to a squeeze page and collect users email addresses by providing some form of free information (often referred to as a lead magnet) that is directly related to the offer and will help you promote it. You can then follow up at very little cost / promote other offers.

    You can then promote your lead magnet using any platform that you want to, as long as it is allowed to be promoted using the platform.

    Typically creating your own landing page will work better. With that being said you need to split test to determine which works best.

    If you have google ads on your landing pages it will take the focus away from promoting your affiliate product imo.

    Google wont be a good idea to start with, try out Native Ads or push traffic , For landing page examples etc , I have amazing guide free of cost on my blog check it out !
