The "Killer" way to Cranking

hey guys, this is my first post here.

i need to apologize using such a headline to grab your attention.

i have been thinking about this for a while, so figured to start a discussion and see how you get your most success.

basically there are two ways to crank out a winner campaign.

1. test our as many offers as possible.
this means you need to work hard to put your hands on anything that pops up. you may find a good winner every 50 to 100 campaigns. depends on your experience, you might have better chances than this number.

2. focus on the big market where there is huge money to be made.
we all are aware money making, dieting this kind of market will always be there. if you can focus on one niche, try different angles, you might hit the jackpot and make consistent money.

now, my personal success comes from the 1st approach. during the process there are a lot of frustrations.

if you did hit something big with an unique offer, you might not be able to sustain the earning as the offer might be gone any minute.

this makes me wonder why not just focus on a biz opp or dieting offer and scale up, such offers are always there, so it should be consistent.

most AM will push such offers to you anyway.

any most big earners are making a killing in such markets.

the Arbitrage Conspiracy guys make 80% income from rebill offers.

i know everyone has his own style about cranking. just want to see how you crank out your campaigns.

if you have other experience, maybe you can share them?

hopefully, this post can help people quickly find their nuggets.

thanks for any input!

Test test test is where I see many people fall short. There really is no shortcut if you want to make IM a full time job for yourself.

There are ways to shorten the testing process, like asking your AM about high converting offers. But make sure you specify what type of traffic you have. Don't ask "what's the highest converting offers right now". Make him get specific with you. Ask something like, "hey, what are the 3 highest converting offers across all your PPC traffic", and "ok, now what are your highest converting offers across CPV and banner traffic". Or use whatever traffic source you are using in your question.

Different traffic sources convert differently on the same offers, just like different keywords convert differently on the same offers.

Also look for newly added offers, possibly across a vertical that you haven't seen hyped that much. If it's a new vertical, it may be unsaturated in PPC and CPV sources, ready for you to exploit. Most of the time affiliates will gravitate towards what other affiliates are already doing, leaving potential goldmines untouched, waiting for the "other guy" to test it first.

But don't stop sending me the 100,000 submits a month on the Grocery Gift Card and Dell/Sony VAIO submits...keep copying those
