Hello warriors,

I have been driving traffic through google ads to my recently launched review site. Therefore due to the high CPC of google ads and the low CPL rates that i get from the offers I promote I just manage to break even.

I did some benchmarking in some competitors of mine and I noticed that they are also driving traffic from various ad-networks usually taboola and outbrain.

From my understanding and some experience i had you can easily lose your money if you don't know what you are doing. What advice would you guys give me in order not to lose my money on that?
What type of traffic sources have you guys using and found success?

I know more about internal SEO but I think you need the help of experienced professionals. For example, on Paperial you can get a ready-made research for both yourself and the college about computer science.Information on the network, and even more so the stories of the client manager, is a biased stream of abstracts. This is about the ""explosive growth in sales"", ""the line of investors and partners"", ""high-speed take-off in the Top10"" and other achievements ""in just 2-3 months.""

Virtually no one talks about the fact that SEO is a strict mode in which the site either lives or not. This is a continuous analysis of competitors and the struggle with them, work with the site, ups and downs, these are experiments that give different results. He is also silent that SEO will not cancel the seasonal decline, will not force you to buy more expensive than your competitors, and will not change the market capacity.
When we analyze his negative experience with the customer, analyze what was done to achieve the main goal of promotion, it almost always turns out that the goal was either not formulated at all or did not correspond to the means. SEO is very often sold ""to be."" At conferences and thematic seminars, we are told that search engine optimization is the norm and must have for any business. Therefore, the client is confident that without SEO there will be no sales.

For Google Ads, there are usually a few things I focus on:

    1. Selecting the right audience location - i.e. If you only sell in the U.S. and Canada, select that option instead of all countries and territories (helps with saving costs)

    2. Create a custom audience - e.g. If you know what your audience is interested in, you can create a "Custom Affinity" audience where you target an audience based on their interests, pages they visit, and etc.

    3. Create one ad group per keyword - So instead of targeting multiple keywords in one ad group, you focus on one keyword. This helps with your ad's quality score because you can be specific. (e.g. Imagine creating an ad for the keywords 'red dress' and 'black dress'. If you only target the keyword 'red dress', then you can include 'red dress' in your ad copy and serve up a landing page showcasing the red dress).

    4. Avoid having your homepage as your landing page - You want to make sure your ad matches what you have to offer. Your traffic will likely leave if they don't see what they're looking for right away.

In that case, If you know the tips & tricks of the ad running, then go for it. If not, then take some help of some professional person. Atleast that way you will not exhaust your budget and may gain useful leads.

    Personally I believe in Apps.

Google Ads for Apps has lower prices for the same keywords and drive traffic 1 or 2 or 3 steps ahead of the sales cycle.

More, the competition is very little, when you compare to websites.

Transform your site in an app and enjoy the blue ocean this distribution channel still is, before gets too crowded like the web.

And if you need more help, send me your questions.

Another channel you need to get on ASAP is Youtube Ads, much more lower in costs than traditional google keyword ads!

Review sites really works on Youtube ads, especially when you have a detailed explainer video ad that goes deep into each product you're selling!

    Good Luck bro
