Does the poll method work in 2022?

I learned the poll method from PPC Coach back in the day. His students said it was an effective way to promote email submit offers. Essentially, you soft sell the email submit offer. The ppc ad doesn't mention anything about the email submit offer. It says something like "Is Britney Spears a good singer? Yes or No? 30-second poll. Vote now." But the landing page usually says "Get a chance at a Iphone 13 for voting, enter your Email on the next page to continue."

Are people still doing polls in 2022?

    I guess for b2c it can work. You have to try everything. The incentive doesn't look great to me though. I would rather give something about Britney rather than a free iPhone. This way I get less emails but more engaged ones on the topic so overall better profit.
