Is Adsense still relevant now?

I did not see many results when seraching for it in the forum, is it still profitable in 2025? If I am only interest in content and blogging, with Adsense alone, assuming I have enough traffic, can I earn something decent in 2025?

    In my opinion, AdSense is still obviously relevant as a monetization company. The problem it currently has is that it has been too strict with its policies for years, and its ad formats have become outdated. For example, I now use other companies like AdMaven on several sites, which don't give me approval problems and offer ad formats like push notifications and smart links, which are in high demand right now and AdSense doesn't have them. I think many people are looking for alternatives to AdSense for these reasons.

    I'm currently running campaigns on Ecomobi, and AdSense is still allowed for some of their campaigns and those actually perform quite well with pretty good commissions.

    AdSense is part of the YouTube monetization system,
    once a channel qualifies to join the YouTube Partner
    Program.

    That's where your videos earn money based on views.

    Anybody that does not know this information needs to
    brush up on their internet marketing knowledge.

    Do yourselves a favor and learn to produce videos.

      You can use adsense on your website also
      In fact adsense start with blog traffic first and after that he moved to youtube also

        Yes, I am aware of all that, because I had
        AdSense accounts since 20 years ago.

        who implied AdSense is no longer a thing.

        AdSense, Google, and YouTube are all
        subsidiaries of Alphabet.

        As to blogs vs. videos, videos are much
        more profitable than blogs from what I
        have seen.

    Adsense can still work if your traffic is big and Tier-1 heavy, but CPMs aren't what they used to be.
    For content/blog sites, I mix it with AdMaven - pops, push, and smartlinks -- and that usually boosts revenue without killing UX.
    Even small tweaks in placement or format can make a noticeable difference in RPM.

    It can still be profitable and in 2026, but AdSense alone usually requires very high traffic to earn decent money. If you're focused only on content and blogging, niche choice and SEO matter a lot. Many creators treat AdSense as a base income and add other monetization later.

    I think it depends on the niche. What is your website's topic? Some niches perform worse with Google than, for example, AADS.

    Wow, thank you all for the responses. I know we can earn sth using both blog and YouTube, provided we have good content. I want to keep it simple to concentrate on Adsense for now.

    If you plan to use Adsense for YouTube Video then it will be profitable but if you have plan to use for Website then there will be no profile, I am using for last 10 years and now we have 0 profit.

      Thanks... Is it that bad for websites? How was it changed so drastically? I prefer websites, so we cannot earn as decently as before now with Adsense, like in 1990s?

      I have decent traffic for some keywords, but CTR is very low. I used Google to auto optimize ads by itself, is it part of the problem?
