What Is The Best Way To Track Your CPA Links?

When running a CPA offer what is the best method to use to track your conversions? Pixels? Link backs?

How do you track whether or not the visitor you send to the offer fits the networks criteria which allows you to get paid?

Pixel firing is the industry standard.. and most people use it. Different pixels behave differently so it depends on the pixel that gets placed, and how the offer is set up with the network.

The criteria for getting paid is the action required for conversion. It could be a lead, a download, or a cc submit, etc... One of those actions need to happen to be paid. You just have to make sure none of its fraud, otherwise you'll be sited by your network, payment will be withheld, and you most likely will be removed.

If you're wondering what the action required for the network is, then it probably isn't the best network.. This is something that should be made obvious.

If you have any other questions hit me up directly or just reply to this.. I'll be happy to help you further. My aim is jenadbloosky.

    Good luck!

Do you have a way to track Impressions, as well as Clicks, and Conversions ?

Or can you only track clicks and conversions?

So, you want to sell me another way to easily make "X" dollars in "X" days? ROFL too funny! IM success requires hard work and lots of time. Most newbies do not survive the steep learning curve. Anyone who says otherwise is probably selling you a fantasy.

With Prosper, you can track impressions, clicks, and conversions.

Unfortunately Prosper does not track impressions. I have checked, and a moderator on the Prosper forum has told me as well.

I have prosper on my dedicated server. No way can it show impressions. There is no graph for impressions, and no way to set up banners or images or pixels to count impressions. It just does not do that. Perhaps in a future version, but it does not do that as of now.

I'm posting this as clarification for any IM that may come along to research this. Prosper = no impression tracking.

I always suggest prosper to people because a lot of my affiliates have had success. I just recently switched over to my own tracking technology recently to help everything.

In late January we're building a propriety tracking system in to better help affiliates scale their campaigns, setup subids dynamically, and optimize. I'm very excited!

      Hi Ryan,

Have you read my posts on your thread here?

The new tracking system does sound exciting, especially for smaller operators.

I'm really looking for a system that can track many campaigns with multiple networks, a mixture of Affiliate networks, CPA networks, etc. I want to track all the way from impressions through clicks, to conversions. I want to track these all in one place, rather than logging into different networks for piece-meal reports in different systems..

Unfortunately, Prosper forces me to go to your system to track impressions, because it cannot do that.

Any suggestions on a good tracking system that can do that?

      Thanks for any ideas!
