    Alright....

First off, I really don't know the topic of the website within 5 seconds of me viewing it. In fact, I still don't.

First impressions are everything. The user needs to know exactly what your site is about within 5 seconds of them loading the website. If they can't figure out what it's about, they'll lose interest and click away.

There is too much text below the title. Make a simple 1 line statement that explains what your site is about.

The title is also quite odd.....It's worded pretty weird as far as the English language is concerned. When I browse the net and I stumble upon pages that have odd titles like that, I immediately click away because in my eyes, that site already lost authority to me.

    Also, GET WORDPRESS!

It's soooo much better than a blogger blog. Take the time to learn how to install it, because it isn't as hard as everyone makes it out to be, and it looks much more professional.

Your site just doesn't look professional, and you will lose nearly every visitor because of that. I'm still working on making professional looking sites at the moment too. Wordpress will improve that quality factor 100 fold, but it won't solve the quality factor entirely. You'll have to do more editing for that.

It's also obvious that you made the site exclusively to put ads on. Users WILL notice this, and they won't like it. It's simply not user friendly when you have ad on top of ad on top of ad.....know what I mean?

Also, if you want to make an informational site on such a large niche (how to save money), then make separate pages for each topic. In wordpress, you can make categories, and that will increase that professional quaity factor by a ton.

Having information on dust filters, bugs, water bills, and video games on the same page just looks bad, no offense. Everything needs to be relevant, INCLUDING the ads. Make a page dedicated to lowering water bills, and have an advertisement promoting a product in the niche of "energy bills" (like those solar panel Clickbank products). Think Relevancy

So in conclusion, get Wordpress to make the biggest benefitial change to your site. Like I said, it's not going to solve all your problems, but it'll get you well on your way for building a quality site that users won't click away from.

    I hope this helps!

When you buy traffic you will not get targeted traffic. Traffic must be targeted to your niche/

For a very beginner, let me initially say good job. I know creating sites when you first start is difficult but rest assured, it gets easier with time and you seem to be off to a good start.

Now I agree with Burtgummer. You really need to make a site very organized and focused People browsing the web are on surfing because they want answers instantly. Its amazing how short of time visitors will give up on a site based on initial impresssion...literally milliseconds.

With that said, try and create a more specific theme that is very noticeable within half a second of seeing the page. Your page has a lot of content and sentences, this is great, but users dont want to read and read, they want answers and if they arent 100% confident reading a parapragh will get them an answer, they simply wont read it.

I'm even thinking making a headline on the top of the site that described it like "10 Ways you can Save $$ Everyday" and then having a list underneath where visitors get to see all ten ways right from the get go and then can click on one of them to be automatically scrolled down the page to that section.

Also make sure your format such as pictures, text etc is very organized. Use tables if you have to.

my 2 cents...for what its worth

Kenster, also many thanks. I like the "10 Ways you can Save $$ Everyday" idea. My question is how do I incorpate ads to where it doesn't seem like I'm forcing the ad?

In the sections where it makes sense to put an ad, put it right in the middle of that content ro very close. If you put ads and pictures everywhere it will distract from the prefessionalism and authority of the site. You dont want to come across like you are selling as much as offering good information

So if people decide to read the renting video games section, BAM you put the gamefly banner or text link right there. You may be able to get away with telling the people within the content CLICK THIS BANNER TO CHECK IT OUT

Put another section about renting videos instead of going to the movies. BAM put the blockbuster CPA banner right there.

Then in the other sections just put good quality content so it doesnt seem like you are just pushing ads all over the place and seems like you are offering great information to help the reader out.

    hope the makes sense

Well buying traffic won't help you to get conversion mate, you need to get the targeted and organic traffic. So better concentrate of targeted traffic.

Related forums and also yahoo answers posting also will help you to get some organic and targeted traffic. Just try to get that.

    Thanks

Exactly what the other have said!! I think you need a logo or something IMO that will give it some character. Also, the banners on the right hand side could be organized a bit better maybe changing where they are and integrating them into the post.

I think I am investing more time into the site than I should. KENSTER- I like your article on Rags to Riches. I purchased the guide, but do you have any suggestions for a moderate begginer such as myself? Basically I don't care about money, I just want to follow my dream to be a proffesional football player and play in the NFL, I have the potential and skill but I need to dedicate ATLEAST 5 hours a day to train. I can't do that when I'm working 50 hours a week. I just need to make enough to pay the bills and put food on the table you know. What route do you suggest I take? Thanks again.
