Facebook Ads Help

I've been toying with facebook lately and found a campaign I want to scale, but here's the problem.

Facebook for whatever reason only sends traffic in spurts. I am currently doing CPM bidding and I'll get a surge of traffic between 1:15-1:20 and I'll get about 50 visitors, then it turns off... then again another surge at 2:15-2:20 and so on it goes all night like that.

Any ideas here?

  • That is true. How do I know? I have two ads going with CPM I se about 20,000 views per day. Yes its all stop and go. People come an go on facebook so that's the way we receive our traffic.

  • It's just the way Facebook is
  • Yeah that's normal, nothing you can really do to control it.

    • i just started playing around with cpa offers again on facebook ads mostly email submits. Cant get them approved for the life of me, they have so many guidelines and even the one they specify is very confusing to understand.

Anyone here have tips on how to get approved better with cpa especially email submits?

    • Dang...soon must really mean soon. I just tried to buy it and the website hung...

  • I would like to know some tips as well, As many of you have said that, the traffic comes and goes so is there any particular time when this happens or its throughout the day.
  • Hello !!!
Since you have the option to select which times your ad should ran, that should be a positive. Mike Filsaime taught in one of his seminars to study the time of the day that you see your best traffic and get your best conversions. You then send your email promotions to arrive at those times. Example: If you targetting band musicians, they are most likely sleeping in the mornings before noon and playing gigs in the evenings. Weekends will be a bad time to promote to them.

Do a traffic/conversion analysis of your niche and capitalize on the option fb gives you ran your ad. You may have to ran the ads daily manually to get those set times but it will be worth the conversion rates you get. I am a living witness.

Why ran ads during the period of 9-5pm when your market is at work and cannot use the corporate computers? You ran your ads in the evenings after dinner.
  • The suggested price on Facebook seems very expensive. I have ads running with adsense which are getting clicks for 4 or 5 pence - Facebook is suggesting 50p!
