You are essentially in a basic way setting up your own affiliate program and the blog and site owners are your affiliates. They do all the work of sellinga promoting and get paid for conversions. You get the check and pay them their commission.

This is arbitrage!

Just remember to pay your partners. If you see great potential in the future working with them, remember to KEEP THEM HAPPY. Maybe give them a nice bonus. Its a fine line you have to walk because if you pay them too much, they will want to bypass you. If you pay them too little they wont want to bother wasting their time. This is based on your discretion.

I got them from Youtube, users with popular videos and little knowledge about internet marketing. Now I am looking for forums related to my niche to buy banner spots.

Thanks for your kind words. Actually, I believe that the most successful internet marketers are the ones who can make others work for them happily. This is brilliant. Now, I am trying to base my whole business on this model and trying it in different areas. One area was CPA, and it seems to work.

I am sure there are lots of warriors that make this much from CPA in a single day, and I know there are some advanced warriors that make more than ten times this amount in a day. I can see the smile on your face. But wait, do not forget that you were once at the point where I am now.

I also know that there are more people who struggles to make a cent with CPA than those who make real money. And I was one of them until Dec 14th, when I stopped dreaming about it and took action! And this thread is intended mostly for those fellow warriors who know what it takes to make money but never take the necessary action.

So, what did I do to make this money?

It is as simple as it could be. Nothing new, nothing magic.

1. Choose an offer that is proven to convert(good epc) and you believe you can promote it.

I found some offers related to something that I like, video games. From Maxbounty in my case, but could be from any other network.

2. Create a landing page. Do not focus on the content, focus on the offer. Let your visitors directly go to the offer page. You don't need them to read your content, this is not Clickbank marketing, just CPA offers.

I created a simple blogger blog around video games. A nice looking theme and a few posts with banners linking to the offer page and a few sentences. Nothing complicated. Added a poll widget to make the site look more friendly, I know gamers like polls and many of them did participate too!

After that, comes the most important part: traffic generation.

3. Drive targeted traffic. You can do lots of things to generate the traffic. Two of the most charming methods for me are PPC and media buy. In both ways, you can get really fast results.

Since I didn't have much money to invest in PPC, I decided to go with something that I would only need to pay for converted traffic. Meaning I thought about finding partners with traffic and offer them a percentage per completed offer resulting from their traffic. Well, there are lots of places where you can create partnerships like video sites, forums and high traffic blogs. Now I have 3 partners and I pay them 25% of what they earn me. The good thing is, this is not like PPC and you pay only when you earn. After earning a bit more I will start with PPC.

In January, I made an average of $4.5/day and now in February I am at $7.5/day for now and my target is $10/day before this month ends.

This is definitely a great indicator of success. Not only because of the money you earned, but most importantly because you shared tips that could be easily followed by others.

In my experience success follows marketers who are generous with their ideas and open with their desire to help others. You've done well.

I've been working in the offline sector more recently due to some help from other Warriors that let to small successes that are beginning to grow. Thanks to your very efficient strategy, I'll develop a few blogs and move in the CPA direction as well. You've taken away my feeling that it was Rocket Science...and for that I am very appreciative.

In Maxbounty, you can create sub-ids to track your campaigns. I guess other networks also have similar tracking codes. For example you can create 3 sub-ids for the same offer and promote it on 3 different sites. It is just like how an affiliate program tracks its affiliates. Great advice. That was the exact thing that I was thinking about. It is true that to earn more money you need money most of the times and I will invest a high percent of whatever I earn into building my online business.

I haven't tried any CPM ads, perhaps you can get advice from other warriors with experience in it. But you could check the keywords your visitors use to land on your site and find related CPA offers or affiliate products for those keywords. Note that each type of marketing works for different type of traffic.

When you say CPA, do you mean only Maxbounty ads? Do you place the ads anywhere on the pages? How much does an ad pay if someone clicks on it? (compared to adsense)

Please give details about what you insert in your pages, as I am new to all this.

CPA is definitely different from Adsense, and what works for Adsense may not work for CPA offers or vice versa all the time. I tried Adsense, Clickbank and Amazon on my landing pages, but it didn't work. Because the landing pages were optimized for CPA offers and the traffic was targeted.

Anyone who came to my site already knew that the site is about offers because of the text in my backlink. And I don't get any conversions from banners on the places like sidebar or else, I get conversions from the posts related to the offer in discussion.

My advice to anyone who is trying to figure out everything before trying anything is, do not. Just do it. Try and fail, try and fail, and then try and succeed...

Can I do the same with Shareasale (I am already member there)? Or is Maxbounty different or better somehow?

I want to post the following PM that I sent to some of the warriors who asked about tracking, so that others also know about it.

As I stated in the thread I use sub-ids to track my partners. I am sure you know the basic idea. For example, I have 3 Blogger blogs and give them IDs as 01, 02, 03. I create the offer links on each blog such as

http://the-normal-offer-url&s1=01 http://the-normal-offer-url&s1=02 http://the-normal-offer-url&s1=03
And give each blog url to a partner. So that when someone clicks on link ending with 01, I know it comes from the blog 01 and partner 01.

This is how it is done to track different sources in Maxbounty. I guess it is similar in other networks too.

When I contact people, I tell them that I will give them a unique code, so that I will be able to track their traffic, and this is what I do. No need to share your account details and never do it unless you know that person very well.

This is something built on trust and it is up to you how to convince the people. Besides, most of the people are not like us, and they are happy with just the money coming in. They never care about how it comes or how to track it.

One more thing about tracking: Creating a different site for each partner is a bit difficult, so my next step was to have a general website about offers and direct my new partners' traffic to there. I bought a domain, created a simple wordpress site created categories and posted a few offers. But, I didn't know how to track people because whatever url I gave them, the url of offers would be the same and I would not know who sent me clicks or leads.

So, I thought that I needed a script that will change the url of the offer links/banners for different traffic sources. Since I am not good at programming, I hired someone to write me a script that does exactly what I needed. What it does is:

I give the following url to my partner:

http://www.my-new-offer-site.com/?04
or
Code:

http://www.my-new-offer-site/video-games/?04
and when someone clicks on the links and lands on my website, the url of the offers automatically is changed to
Code:

http://the-normal-offer-url&s1=04
This is great and works as I want it to.

I love your method on media buys. Like one of the posters said, you're actually becoming your own network, in a way. Great leveraging of other people's traffic.

Kudos to you, seriously. I hate seeing these posts about " Oh I can't do this and I can't do that.........some one help me!"

Its really amazing what you can come up with by simple turning off the puter and just spending an hour just "thinking".

If you are asking that to drive targeted traffic to your landing pages with Shareasale ads on, why not? You need to try this.

I don't create one blog for each offer and don't suggest that if you are just beginning. What I do is, host related offers on the same blog on different posts. Free wordpress blogs will not work as far as I know since they do not allow affiliate links. Forget about wordpress blogs, if you cannot afford domain and hosting, just go with Blogger or any other platform that allows affiliate links.

This model is not related to following google trends, but I am trying another model recently which is about google trends and it seems to work well. More tests needed though.

I told where I found the partners in the first post of this thread. I am currently contacting to forum webmasters to buy some banner spots. They didn't do this themselves, because they do not know how to make money online, they do not know about CPA offers. They got online traffic and that's what we, internet marketers, need, right?
