Does MaxBounty Also Shave Leads?

Guys, Does anyone here feels that Maxbounty is shaving leads? I have been sending huge amount of traffic to some offers and the conversion isn't that great, And all this traffic are Paid and Targetted
I just got this feeling that they are shavings leads and my AM is not that good either, never response to email at all, maybe she is new as the other lady AM Quit.
Can you experienced guys out there do a test on them if you're with them?
I will be sending huge amount of Traffic pretty soon( very targetted) and since this is the only CPA network I am in, I just want to make sure they are ethical and good.
I just applied to neverblue but can't get them on the phone. I'll try again.
Guys, any Good Networks to Recommend that accept people from asia? I have been preparing myself by learning about CPA for several months now and I believe the time has come for me to unleashed.
I just want to make sure that all my efforts and investment are not futile just because some networks decide to scrub my leads.

Thanks
Lina

Yeah, scrubing is a huge part of a lot of lead gen. It sucks to find them, but I swear most zip submit/email submits scrub 90%.

Shaving sucks, but is there anyone who has experience about some companies that are not shaving the zip submits?

Unlike other networks,Affiliate Cash Pile enforces a 0 shaving policy and pays weekly to all our affiliates. Being affiliates ourselves, we understand how quickly the affiliate space changes and we actively update our network with new offers to keep you profitable. To sum it up, ACP makes affiliates rich. ACP has content gateway as well.

Networks don't usually shave and ones that do are just kicking themselves in the rear end. If you guys are referring to email/zip submits the advertisers control the shave on those and if you think you are going to find an email/zip submit that doesn't shave you are looking for something you will never find.

Also... On the leadgen offers, you can't compare a 'similar' leadgen on Network A to a 'similar' leadgen on Network B. You will find different leadgens convert differently than others. It's all related to the advertiser, the reg flow, how they scrub (validate) the lead before the pixel fires, so on and so forth.

I don't want to sound harsh but I am going to be very blunt... You are basing your accusations off of "I think they are" and you really don't have any hard facts. You are actually dragging a good network through the mud because you "think" they are shaving. It would be a stronger claim if you ran the same offer with another network to see how it performs before accusing a network of something.

Most of the "scrubbing/shaving/whatever" is based solely on the advertiser and has nothing to do with the network. Leadgen offers are always going to return leads EOM and most of the time the network will pass these invalids/scrubs back to the publisher as a chargeback.

Sorry for the long rant but your basis for what you are claiming is not really based on anything but you "think" and you really need more facts to prove what you are claiming - all while dragging MaxBounty through the dirt.

The thing is it's not always the networks themselves to blame. Sometimes it's just the advertisers themselves.

I don't really do zip or email submits anymore because they get scrubbed so hard no matter how targeted it is.

I'm not sure if the actual CPA networks shave. Most of them like to keep their reputation, and in fact they don't lose anything if they don't shave. The actual offer owners however, MUST shave in order to make a profit.

In my own experience - the ones that are capped (like 250 max submits a day) are the ones that are legit. Those advertisers are the ones who are afraid of getting a bunch of junk traffic and forged addresses so they reward good traffic.

All CPA companies will scrub if the traffic doesnt back out for the advertiser.

The two networks that I've found work the best for email/zip submits are fluxads and LFM Network. They have tons of offers and seem to scrub less than the rest. Overall email/zip submits can be really rough because they often won't backout for the advertiser....which means more scrubbing! Good luck!

I highly doubt max bounty does any scrubbing,

you get crap conversions when you push simple lead gen offers. it can be for a number of reasons and IS THE MAIN REASON why you should always split test.

Try getting into other networks apply to like 20 and call them, do whatever you can to get in,

I strongly suspect Maxbounty highly shaves leads and they also recently reversed 2 of my high paying leads. When I contacted my slippery AM she played it off like it wasn't a big deal, stating they were probably just duplicates or filled out incorrectly. I'm very much finished with them.

Some networks definitely shave, but it's incorrect to make a blanket statement that ALL networks shave.

This is why you should split-test your offers between two or three different networks, and it will be crystal clear as to which networks are shaving, and which ones are honest. High payouts mean NOTHING without the EPCs to back them up, so be leery of networks that offer you a much higher rate, as it can sometimes be deceptive if it's not converting like it should.

    Scrub a dub dub!
I use Maxbounty, and right now I am running a Targeted keyword PPC campaign to a zip submit (DIRECT). The traffic is small, as this is a test right now. Only using about 20 words. But at any rate, I tracked 79 visits sent, and they recorded 71 (visits, not conversions). Of this, ONE converted. Honestly, it always seems like they all shave, as everyone says. I mean targeted visitors that searched for "FREE IPAD" and got a free ipad offer for a ZIP, and only ONE entered their zip code??? Seems awful bad to me, but maybe I am nuts. So far, it is still a positive campaign. On a larger sample; costing me $1.30 per $1.80 lead.

I find Peerfly to be better as far as shaving goes, it doesn't seem like they are as bad.

The absolute WORST had to be Ymultimedia, at least for me. They are going out of business anyway now, but I sent THOUSANDS of visits in traffic to all kinds of offers, and the entire time I was with them NEVER GOT A SINGLE CONVERSION! NOT ONE PENNY EARNED!!! Just by shear numbers, somebody should have filled out an offer. But I'm not bitter.....

Most of the time the volume on zip/email submits is so huge the the system actually loses a few leads. The majority of the time it is the actually advertiser pulling leads from you and not the network itself. As someone else mentioned it has to back out for the advertiser.

I do know some of the big networks do shave leads but those that do hardly ever chargeback leads that the advertiser returns. Then again a good affiliate manager will fight for your leads anyways.

When I started with MB last 2 years, I had good conversions, but it continuously decreasing to the point that I had to give them up.... I'm still doing good with peerfly and I hope they'll stay for a while..

I have been doing great with Maxbounty up until about a month ago. I was promoting one E-mail submit and getting around 300 clicks a day and it was converting around 1 in 10. I am still getting the same amount of traffic but it seems everything is being redirected to the survey scout offer has never converted for me. I don't understand why all this traffic is suddenly being redirected.

Networks usually don't shave. Like one said, networks won't stay in business much longer if they do.

    However, advertisers do shave.

In their contracts (between them and the network) there is usually a clause that allows some leeway for bad leads. If that leeway is, say, 10%, then as sure as the sun rises every morning, the advertiser will shave 10%.

Now since the network can't take a loss, they pass that off to you. So, technically the networks don't shaving.

Well when I was new to IM I have signed up with eleadmedia(probably the worst network) I got them lot of traffic but only 1 or 2 use to convert then once I run their incentive offer and made one of my friend to sign up with his CC just to check if it converts or not and it didn't. Then I realised those guys are B*** S***. I already decided that I am going to leave them but just to check whether they will agree that they are shaving leads I sent all the proof of sign ups and CC info as well with which it has been sign up and they started saying OUR SYSTEM IS BULLET PROOF this and that. So then I switched the networks. But after reading this thread I am afraid when a quality network like MB is shaving leads what about others? Big marketers let us know which network don't shave leads in your experience.

I would have to say that they definitely DO scrub leads. I have been getting zip/email submit signups lately in a way that I know what ip they used, and can verify the signup. My most recent results....
Over 24 total verified signups, on 3 different offers, Maxbounty credited me for 9. They were all definitely USA submits, on USA offers as well. Only reason I'm still promoting with them is that they have a $50 min payout, and I'm currently at about $17. Afterward I'm moving on.

EDIT: It's official. Virtually every offer I promote with them pays out the first 3-5 signups, then shuts off completely. Even though I keep getting good signups. It's like the advertiser (or MB) flips a switch and leads stop counting.

There's a few that don't. I wont comment on the ones that do, but we don't, and I know big boy Brian doesn't. I believe he and I have a similar business model that we live up to.

      Let's put it this way:

The networks that have too much to lose wont scrub (generally speaking, but this isn't always true), whereas the networks that can afford to lose some business often do scrub (but this is also generally speaking, and not always true).

Wanna find out which are scrubbing? Split test. It's that simple.

It's a common belief that all networks shave but there are networks out there with integrity. Since many networks run similar offers, a good way to insulate yourself if you suspect shaving is to split test the offers on competing networks. Either that or get to know your am. Having a friendly relationship with your am can change the game completely.
