Question about targeting kws.

It seems that with cpa, I read about finding targeted traffic being important. Is targeted traffic for cpa still considered to me much more general than one would look for for standard affiliate products?

So do I want to find high volumes of traffic that is generally targeted to the offer?

    I think that people sometimes make the details of their traffic more complicated than they need to be.

    There are only a few things to worry about, how much your traffic is costing you, how much of it converts from your perspective, and how much of it converts for the offer you are promoting. Many marketers overlook the last one, and get in hot water with their CPA programs!

    In general, the more targeted the traffic, the better for everyone, but as long as you are keeping your cost of acquisition low, and your program manager keeps telling you that they are happy with how your campaign is doing, then focus on increasing your traffic, instead of worrying too much about whether or not your traffic is targeted enough.

      I agree with Anna wholeheartedly. Targeted keywords are great and all but if want to make $50K/mo instead of $5k/mo, you need offers that convert on broader keywords because that's where the bigger, cheaper traffic is. I've heard people say to avoid broad keywords, but my bank account disagrees.
