Quick question for you all...

I am just curious what people's expectations are when it comes to CPA marketing.

What is your CPA income goal?

How long do you want to achieve it in?

My first goal was just to turn a profit! Now that I'm doing that my goal is $2k a month. Not sure I'm ready to take the leap and depend on this as a sole source of income yet so I don't feel I have the time to expect more than that right now.

Already achieved my goal a lot of times. But hmm, maybe double it up in a shorter amount of time? I.e $10.000 USD in 1 Month.

How? Well, all the possible CPA-methods that are available with my own touch on them of course (Like everyone should do if you are doing CPA, be creative).

Once you get it working, and it gives you money. Continue and keep working to get it rolling and be a secure income.

    Good luck :-)

For me, I achieved my goal on several different websites. I've had better luck on websites that are "movie based" when dealing with CPA.

Haha my goal is to set up a 97% automatic income stream of 50k a month. This assumes I can find somebody I trust enough to run the system/systems. Of course I would like to make more, but I would like to have that as back pocket comfort without having to really look at it. Then I would like to be a serial entrepreneur and just start all kinds of businesses.

I'm suprised but glad at the goals I am seeing everybody have. Was expecting everybody to say they want to make 1k a day by next week.

Since I'm new to the CPA game, I would like to have a solid average of $100/Day.
    This equals around $3000/Month.

I figure Uncle Same will get nearly 1/3 of that, so that will leave me around $2k/Month or so profit.

I would like to hit that in 3-5 months.

I agree with this. I've made almost 99% of my money from my own ebooks, info products over the years. So much easier and so much more profitable when you get one that works well. Also, much more stable and long term income also.

Now just imagine combining your OWN product with something like PPV, media buys, etc.
Huge potential for a cash explosion.

I'm new to the game, but the S.M.A.R.T. goal I have written down, and read everyday says:

Average $100/day from CPA by the end of April.

$167/day from CPA by the end of May. ($5000/month)

$250/day from CPA by the end of June

$334/day from CPA by the end of September - 6 month goal. ($10,000/month) and buy first class tickets for me and my family for our trip back to the USA.

Now the real goal....to work hard enough to exceed every one of those goals, and have the fun of setting new higher goals.

I'm a beginner myself and right now I'm doing articles. It's pretty annoying and I'm not very fond of writing articles like I'm a journalist but until I gather money for ppc it will have to do.

I'm going to be drop dead honest, while I'm not starting out - I think article writing, SEO is a great way to start, in the end I think you need to do them plus PPC, etc to diversify as much as possible and build a better sustainable income

You can literally reach big numbers like that from free or paid traffic. Plenty of people make that kind of money from pure organic traffic.

But, for the average person, most people who do mid to high six figures per year will be focusing on paid traffic. Some do media, some ppc, some ppv.

To make $5k per month you just need to get good at whatever traffic method you decide. They all have the potential to reach that goal.

  • This post is great.. ive just made my Desirable Future Reality Sheet...

    1- Where are you now
2- Where you want to be (goals)
3- Whats needed to connect A to B...

My goal is to make 2k/mo in 6 months. Wich be as earning 3x the average my classmates are earning. I personally sell in MercadoLibre Mexico, and make around 3k month profit. So im diversifying my time and want to give it my best shot to CPA.

Now, im really studying PPV and I think thats what i want to master first. Any suggestions, media, ppc or ppv?.

By far, ive been accepted into 2 networks, so I can start testing now, will make more calls on monday and make at least $400-$500 USD profit this month (is it achievable?).

Also in my DFR, I have a goal of making a product in spanish about cpa and maybe a WSO (in spanish and english) with real case studies of my progress.

Thats should be about it... for now.. lets get to work.

    Carlos

PS. Kenster TOTALLY ADD me to the list for you WSO.. I loved rags to riches..

I am quoting myself for I posted that around a week ago. The very next day I made my first sale of $20 direct into my Paypal account. I got super motivated and then I spent hours on the computer, laptop away from home, cell phone at family and friends places and well over exceeded my first goal since. I did not realize how simple it can be to make over $100 a day. I just doubted myself, that was bad. Now I have a new goal posted on my computer, my laptop, my bathroom mirror, my door, of $300 a day. I owe a lot of thanks to the warrior forum community. I just hope I don't accidentally do black hat and get kicked off this forum. haha

Yeah man, I have my goals written down everywhere as well. I always need that constant reminder to keep plugging away. Its way to easy to just walk away and do nothing especially once you have automated income streams set up, but automated income streams rarely grow, they normally stay stable or decline, so its important to always have reminders to kick you in the butt to achieve more and keep growing and goals are perfect for this.

Normally you will know if you are doing bluefart type stuff. If you make simple mistakes like promoting the wrong way, its normally not a huge deal from the networks standpoint. Everybody makes stupid mistakes every now and again

    Honestbiz,

Seems like we are on the same wavelength a lot of times.

Yes, once you are in CPA long enough you develop a keen sense to find all kinds of ways to monetize CPA offers. Then it becomes which of these ideas have the most potential and you start weeding out ideas instead of trying just to think of one.

I guess the same can be said about any industry though!

I am gonna be watching this thread and using it to hold myself accountable! I really want to post back here saying I have exceeded my goals. I do have them written down where I can see them everyday as well! I have made money with CPA before but I want to really ramp it up!

    CPA GOALS
    1) Will be losing a part time job by the end of August. I want to replace that income by May. This works out to only about $20 per day or $600 per month. I KNOW this is attainable.
    2) I want to more than double that by June bringing me to $50 per day or $1500 per month.
    3) By July I want to be making a consistent $100 per day or $3000 per month.
    4) After July, I want to average anywhere from $100 per day to $400 per day every day!

I do believe I can reach every one of these goals.

Looking forward to the new WSO Kenster!

My goal for this year $750K profit from CPA as well. I'm really ramping up my PPC budgets this year, as I've built up a very conservative AdSense-based empire last year to keep myself afloat.

I've been converting AdSense sites to CPA and testing, testing, testing, and really working hard on the PPC/Landing Pages side of things... to great success.

Yeah man. I hear stories of people just kicking butt after switching their adsense campaigns to CPA. I mean I started in CPA but if your adsense campaign has a CPA offer alterantive, I can only imagine CPA would bring in a ton more cash.

Too many people see the picture of Jeremy's fat adsense check!

Good point. If they are willing to pay us $X per lead then that lead is worth at least more than $X. If they are looking for a 100% return, than that lead is actually worth $2X.

If you can find out how the advertiser is monetizing the leads, you can signiicantly increase your margins by bypassing the actual offer. Its easy to ind out as well, just fill out the offer and check out where the funnel leads you!!

My ultimate goal is $10K a month (approx. $334/day) for now. I say for now because I'm sure when I get to that point, I'll want to make even more I hope to be making this by early (Jan/Feb) 2011.

I do have smaller, short term goals set though. They are:

    $50/day or $1500/mo by June 2010
    $100/day or $3000/mo by August 2010
    $200/day or $6000/mo by October 2010

The October goal may be delayed since I'm expecting a baby at the end of Sept., but this is what I am shooting for at the moment. I can always adjust accordingly.

I have my first goal of $50/day written down on the dry erase board on the wall behind my desk. I look at it often to stay focused on what I want to accomplish.

Goal? $15k-$20k a month. Right now on a good month I do about $8k. But, $15k on any venture has been my goal for about a month now. So, if I can do my main business plus CPA, I should be able to make it to that 15-20k mark soon enough.

Some of the following goals have already been achieved, but here is a basic overview of my monetary goals (A.K.A. my 12-step program) for CPA:

    Code:
    1) My first $1 online
    2) Enough to cover my hosting/domain fees etc.
    3) $1/day consistently
    4) $10/day
    5) $50/day
    6) $100/day
    7) $200/day
    8) $300/day
    9) $10,000/month
    10) $15,000-$20,000/month
    11) $1,000/day
    12) $1,000+/day (after taxes) + Leverage as much as I can by diversifying my income and investing in other businesses while living part-time in the U.S., Thailand, China, Japan, Canada, Europe - wherever the heck I want to!
I'd say, a normal time frame for the completion/achievement of said goals would be 2 - 5+ years (less, with the proper use of PPC/media buys).

Lots of goals there! I would make sure you attach a date to each as milestones to your ultimate goal of after-tax 1k per day!:p

I would actually not attach a date to that list.
Print it out, hang it on the wall next to you and scratch the goals as you reach them instead.

I guess different strokes for different folks.

For me, without a deadline, there is much less push and emphasis to reach the next level. So for me, attaching dates HELPS A LOT. As I said, everybody is different :p

Yes, I like goals. Goals are good.
I like to have many short-term goals as well as long-term goals vs. having only a few big goals that are spread out and harder to achieve. It's far better for drive and encouragement when you are achieving your goals regularly.

    One thing to point out.

In wanting to hit your goals, include your AM. Their goal is to make money too, and, if your AM is worth their salt, they will being jumping at the chance to help you.

Note though, helping you isn't the same as holding your hand and guiding you step by step. It's time consuming, and your AM has, sometimes, a lot of people wanting help.
    {{ DiscussionBoard.errors[2008181].message }}
  • Profile picture of the author Kenster
AMs are invaluable resources. This can cut out a lot of testing costs, if the AM tells you a particular offer is doing well with a particular traffic source, then you know its working. Now all you have to do is optimize your campaign and voila, money making madness. If you aren't asking for info and working with your AM, you will spend a lot more in testing costs.

How many people actually have these goals printed out in daily view????

    I do...always have...always will!

That's amazing. But if you think about it, it all comes down to numbers. Maintain it for 30 days, and you have $30k revenue, of which $24k is profit (I'm guessing you host a site, so take a few dollars for that) And, very important, remember about taxes.
But you are doing very well, find ways to scale it up even more, and work on new campaigns so you have another money stream
    Good luck
