Which ones are you mainly promoting?

Hey guys,

I'm just starting in CPA and trying to find my way around all these offers.

I think I have a lot of testing to do to see what converts and what doesn't, both in terms of traffic and offers, but I just wondered which type of offers you guys mainly promote. E-mail/zip submits or short forms with lower payouts or trial offers/sales with bigger payouts?

Thanks a lot.

I promote both offers with low and high payout. However, it's not possible to give you some advice without knowing what traffic source you intend to use.

If you are going to work with PPC, I would recommend you to start with email, zip and short form submits. However, if you're planning to get started with free traffic you may prefer offers with a payout above $25.

Anyway, it's hard to suggest you something without additional information.

I would go after the health market first. This is the only niche that is steady all year round and you'll find that it's the most consistent niche you can every sell from. Other good ones are financial (credit repair, payday loans, credit cards, credit report, etc) and insurance.

Basically you really want to think about these things. Ask yourself "is this product a NEED or a WANT?"

If the product is a WANT then it will take a lot more effort for you to convince people to take action. If the product is a NEED then its something that will be a lot easier to sell, since you don't have to convince them as much.

With NEED offers all you need to do is bring an awareness to the right demographics and you'll have some steady income. I try to promote high payouts, I don't touch anything below $30 (sometimes $25) unless I have a smokin hot system setup.

The reason being, it's really hard to stay in profit with a lower payout. Also, sometimes, it's just as hard to convert a free offer as it is to convert a paid one simply because, free offers most people KNOW they have to fill out 10 pages of surveys and then get slammed with more spam than you can get at a local food store.

You'll find that a lot of people would rather be sold on something ANYWAY because they're impatient and they want it now. The quickest way to get anything is to pay for it. So, that's my advice to you, hope this helps.

    What are my strongest niches?

    - Dating
    - Mobile
    - Downloads (toolbars, game deals, etc)
    - Weight Loss
    - Teeth Whitening

The rebill volume is down for me these days but the future is looking bright for them.

    Hey Ben,

Congrats on getting started with CPA! It's a great industry and there is a TON of money to be made! But I'm currently running a live CPV (cost per view) campaign on my blog right now. It's a "credit score" offer and the conversions have been pretty decent. What kind of advertising are you considering for your first campaign?

If you just want to get your feet wet and test something out for your first offer, you may want to try cost per view. It's pretty simple and you can set a low daily budget so you're not overwhelmed at first. But feel free to send me a PM or email and let me know if you need some help/advice with getting your first campaign up and running. Hope that helps!

    Best of Luck,

Rebills took a hit due to changing guidelines on some of the PPC platforms, but they will be a around for a long time to come. As the FTC becomes more involved in the future, who knows what they will mutate into and how effective they will be.

But as far as conversion, right now there are still some that absolutely rock

I don't want to start a new thread so I'm just gonna use this one again. I chose some offers to try and one of them is in a niche that is perfect for me. The only problem is that offer has been running since Nov 09 and expires end of this month according to AZN.

Well, I guess my question is how likely is it that an offer gets extended?

Have you looked for the same offer on other networks usign offervault or affspy or something? Its always good to belong to more than one network when promoting an offer strong as you dont always want to drive all traffic to one network.

Also, if a network drops an offer like in your case, its always good to have immediate backup so you dont lose commissions.

If the offer is exclusive to a particular network, I always ensure that that I have a very similar offer in my back pocket just in case the one suddenly expires, particularly if you are driving decent traffic.

thinking ahead and anticipating dropped offers helps prepare you because it happens all the time.
