Application Question - Incentive Traffic?

Hey there - first, thanks in advance for your willingness to help (if you are)...

I'm a CPA newbie filling out a MaxBounty application and I had a question.

I have a very popular relationship website with an email list of over 100K. I can drive that traffic via email marketing or directly from the site to incentive offers. The MaxBounty application is asking if my account is for incentive traffic and to describe the incentive, however, their FAQ says:

"A potential publisher must understand that while MaxBounty does allow some forms of incentive traffic, publishers using incentive traffic will be limited to advertising only the few ad campaigns which accept it. Most campaigns do not accept incentive traffic. We're very selective on the kinds of incentive traffic we accept and very strict on incentive publisher adherence to only advertising the campaigns which allow it. Generally speaking, potential publishers who purchase or license common GPT (Get Paid To) incentive scripts, will not be accepted into the network due the higher level of problematic leads they seem to generate."

My question - should I list on my application that my account is for incentive traffic? Should I drop the whole relationship website angle completely and sign up without that info? I haven't had much success getting into the networks even with a follow up phone call, so I thought I'd ask. Thanks!

I think you shouldn't give them this information in your application. Even if you say that you won't work with incetive offers you will be able to promote them when you get your account approved.

    How exactly are you incentivizing?

You can also consider selling to your list non-incentive offers which normally pay more. If there isn't a good matching non-incent CPA offer, then you may be forced to incentivize them to fulfill the action though!

If you want to giev us some info maybe we can help you so you can get into MB...its a good company!

    Nice list btw, Ken

      Hey Guys,

First of all, thanks for your time and effort in responding.

In the time I had posted the original thread, I filled out the app to MaxBounty, submitted it, called my affiliate manager, and had a nice chat with him. I just received notice via email that I've been rejected from MaxBounty.

I did not check off the box indicating my account was for incentive traffic. I was honest about my site and used the tips offered in this thread and couple of WSOs I've purchased...obviously I'm going wrong somewhere.

@Ken, I can't answer your question as I'm not sure what offers exist within the networks. I didn't know I could view them without acceptance first. I just read about OfferVault, so I could have checked that out.

I understand these networks have standards and you have to be able to talk the talk, but I'm a legitimate business owner with extensive experience in SEO & PPC. I also have a loyal following that I could easily direct towards various offers.

I guess all I can do is tweak my methods and try again. Thanks for letting me vent.

    renjain,

As Kenster said, maybe you don't need to promote incentive offers. If you have a list in the relationship niche you can start promoting dating offers, chances are that some of them will convert very well.

Just go to OfferVault and make some quick research. Dating is not one of my verticals, so I can't give you a better advice, but there you willl find what you need.

William, yes, the dating offers would work well. I think I need to get into a network to promote them. I'm going to research direct relationships with the big dating sites as well. Thanks for your help!
