Even I have applied for EWA and got denied for the same reason. Buddy may be even Ryan won't help if we don't get a personal reference.

Ryan is a great guy, you should stop trying to get people refer you to get in . Just PM Ryan and tell him you know what you are doing , if you really don't have much knowledge of CPA or traffic driving , you should get start to learn and experiment till you master something . Get into CPA network can not make you money.

Ryan, I am interested in becoming a Merchant through EWA, I have phoned several times this week but had no luck. Please get in touch with me via PM and I will then send you details of the company I work for.

EWA is pretty tough to get into. I have 15+ years of successful affiliate + internet marketing experience + 28 years as an entrepreneur. Applied with 6 networks so far, and have been accepted by ALL of them, except EWA. Also was accepted with Offervault's Affilicert program, but that was shut down.

I hear they are great to work with, and have some of the best paying offers.

They did mention that out beforehand. I was being paid on spot after I hit $500. EWA is just a great private network I've ever joined.

Let's hear some definite tips from people who have been accepted into this network on how to get approved.

I also would like to hear from Ryan concerning the approval criteria so it's not a big shock or mystery to us.

I can't really provide critera on acceptance for compliance purposes - the easiest way to get in is from a personal referral from a member already in the network. If you do have experience and you are a serious marketer, reaching out directly to me will get you in too (via email, AIM, PM, etc).

I don't think EWA is too much of a mystery to get into. I'm with them and the key to getting accepting is reaching out to them and I'm totally new to CPA.

That being said I'm not overly content with some of their 'one-to-one' communication. I've only been in CPA for 3 weeks and I've brought in a 4 figure sum with EWA. Being new, I'm very keen to learn and want to talk as much as I can with my AM. I did chat on AIM with my affililiate manager there, but at times I didn't feel I was repected or got the feeling they had more important things. At times I was given one word answers and one time wasn't replied to at all over AIM. I also queried about personal pay bumps but was palmed off quickly.

After a few days of this lack of indepth communication I became fed up, so on thursday I decided to give two other networks a call. I called Azoogle, told them the results I have had and they accepted me immediately and were a great help.

Next I called Neverblue and again showed them my results, told them I was new, they were impressed and accepted me immediately. Not only that but they personally asked what offers I am promoting and went through each one and gave me private pay bumps well over anything EWA was offering me. I didn't even have to ask!

Since then I've switched over all my EWA links to these other networks and I've had great helpful insightful discussions with my new AM's.

Overall EWA are an okayish outfit. They paid me on time and it is a big plus there are no major thresholds. I do thank EWA for giving me the chance as a newbie which not alot of other networks would have given me, they also gave me a chance to get into the bigger networks. However they need to improve the quality of their one-to-one communication. Maybe they don't have enough staff? But they need to sort it out.

Speaking only for myself I think you are acting like EWA owes you something. All networks have a hard time keeping up with publishers and trying to help them learn .

I don't know Ryan on a personal level but he is a stand up guy here on the forums and it seems like you are acting like a spoiled child since your account manager did not reply fast enough to your requests. Your AM is not your personal puppet , he/she has to have a lunch break or personal time daily. They are not there every time you try to AIM or whatever.

This business if fast paced and the payouts differ ,but I would suggest you never burn your bridges in any business and try to show some loyalty to those who helped you get where you are. Instead you complain about it ,like you are owed something.

You might have gifted skills or are just plain greedy, I know that in any market that sells there is plenty of "meat on the bone " so everyone eats.

Be loyal to those who brought you to the dance or you may not be able to find a partner.

EWA is not that hard to get into. As long as you at least kind of know what you're doing and you're serious. Just hit up birdman like he says. I'm sure you kind find people here who will refer you as well. In my opinion the easiest way is to just hit him up yourself though.

EWA is probably the best network for new people. It's where I started.

If you're getting private pay bumps and not contacting your EWA account manager - you are losing money. We routinely go through and beat street payouts but we will beat any payout - even private payouts.

Drop me a private message regarding your experience with us, I'd like to see what I can do to resolve it. I appreciate your honest feedback and I am here to make changes. We are not perfect - but we sure strive to be the best we can.

I'm not sure why EWA called me out of the blue, quizzed me, and then accepted me. At the time of my application, I hadn't had much experience, and I definitely didn't have a reference. It must have been a random stroke of luck.

I'll know they're happy with my performance now though

I think they're great. The only thing I dislike: I prefer email communication over IM, but their affiliate managers tend to prefer IM.

Nah man, my AM hooks me up all the time via AIM. Plus I can't remember the last time my emails haven't been responded to in an hour or so anyways. AIM is much easier.

We use email communication too it's just normally slower responses (think about it: instant message vs email). Every account manager, including me, clears out and responds to every single email that they get in.

EWA's support is great but the only thing that i can complain is that they don't have creatives. Sure creatives can be found at other networks but sometimes other networks don't have that particular offer or something.

Ryan, do you think that you will someday add creatives or is it because you don't do creatives you can offer higher payouts? if the latter, will you however still consider adding creatives?

Understandable, but think of it like this - 99% of the time the creatives the networks have suck. If you talk to your AM, they will walk you through ideas for creatives that do pretty well and you end up learning more from it..

just my opinion.. in the end it makes you grow more

I design my own creatives since it's more personalized -- something like "Hey Domain.com visitors -- free trial offer" on my banner would work.

Even if they don't provide you with the creatives, most of the offers seem to accept all kind of traffic sources (email, social net, ppv, etc) compared to similar offer on other CPA networks with traffic restriction.

Creatives will never be provided on our network for two reasons:

    1) They don't convert
    2) It doesn't force the affiliate to learn

In many of the offers -- how do I determine what lead is needed to convert? For example, do I get pay when they submit an email, fill out the 2nd page, or credit card submit? Other CPA networks are specific on this process, but not for EWA?

Just check how much CPA offer pays. If it pays $1 or $2 then it means it converts on email/zip submit.

If it pays less then $10 or approx $10 then it means they need to fill out a page to convert. In such cases check LP of offer. If 1st LP has only 2 or 3 fields, then it means they will have to complete 2nd or 3rd page also.

If offer pays more than $20 or approx $20 then it means it is a cc submit.

Of course, if you have any doubts, send a message to your AM and ask him.

We don't really provide this info (mainly because it's common sense and excess data entry). If you have any specific questions hit your account manager up.

I like what ryan said about creatives. Hes right. Ive never personally used a networks creative. 99.99% of the time they are way to overproduced and banner blindness occurs. even making a really shotty on in paint will gain more attention than the stock images. @mudbutt - EWA does not carry any incent offers whatsoever so if you're only going to run incent please keep it outta' EWA . I know that BLAM Ads : Incentivized Affiliate Network, Content Locking & Social Currency carries incent, good guys over there.

ewa network rocks!!! i had an issue with spyware in my computer and it caused my account to get banned after some rude mails were sent, however i can speak very highly of ewa and wish i was still with them, outstanding payouts, excellent affiliate manager communication and on time payments. I highly reccomend anyone that is into cpa check them out.

It is pretty hard to get into EWA. I have immense experience in the areas of successful affiliate business, internet marketing and as an entrepreneur.

    Hi everyone!

I recently applied to EWA, and I'm sure I require a referral.
I sent an email to Ryan, although I haven't heard back from him yet. I understand he is more than likely very busy.

    What should I do?

If it were me, I'd take some screenshots of my stats (assuming you have generated some revenue with other networks), and send them to show them that you know what you're doing -- maybe that would get their attention.

Just FYI, I'm probably the exception, but somehow I got in without a referral. I was really surprised. I know they have no regrets, cause I do pretty good volume with them

EWA rocks, don't run as much traffic as I use to with these guys but they are definitely still an awesome network to run your traffic with!
