Does YouTube allow direct CPA or affiliate links?

I don't want to break any YouTube rules and risk getting banned. So I'm wondering... does anyone know if YouTube allows direct CPA/affiliate links to be shown at the end of a video (or in the description area)?

Thanks,

John

I've done it and still hard at it. No issues what so ever yet. But if you have a really kick ass channel and are afraid of losing it I suggest going trough the TOS and if you don't find an answer just mail them asking.

You can do it and in my opinion the risk of getting banned is slim but it CAN happen.

I suggest using a redirect if you decide to link directly to an offer.

No, You can't use a direct link on youtube for cpa but you can divert to using a free website like blinkweb and then use that link on you tube! Hope this helps!

Best to use a re-direct if you can to avoid getting banned. I know of a few marketers accounts that have been banned lately. Google is getting strict these days... Take the advice already given.

Can you redirect from a second level domain like, "cooldeals(or whatever) .com/free-phones
or should you get a domain top level for each different redirect?

I wouldn't do it, but instead would use a top-level domain to redirect to the offer. Why risk it when all you'd need to do is a buy a 99 cent .info domain to do the redirect safely?

Cool. So .info's are common, used and successful right?

And do you "mask" and forward? Is that the same thing? Does that concern "frames" which I thought I heard isn't allowed on some offers?

    Thanks for your thoughts.
