What PPV Networks are the best?

I see PPV is becoming the latest trend in obtaining targeted traffic to your website, but with so many networks out there which one do you choose. So for those of you who are experienced PPV marketers could you recommend good networks that provide quality and value.

Thanks

Trafficvance is by hands down the best quality, however they require a $1000 initial deposit and 1-2 references to get in

Yikes Chris, that's a hefty deposit! But I suppose it keeps their program high quality.

That's what I like about the Warrior Forum everyone rallies to help and give answers. So I hope you now understand what PPV is from all the replies.

            Hey affiliatesuperstar,

I've been using Lead Impact now for almost 6 months and I have seen some great results from their traffic. They only require a $200 initial deposit so it's a great place to start learning CPV.

From my experience, MT is decent, but it's really difficult to get any significant amount of volume. I have had campaigns with 5000+ keywords, set a $25 daily budget, and I will only end up using about $8 of my budget. So it's a good place to learn CPV, but if you want to really start pumping some volume into your campaigns, you may need to go elsewhere.

TrafficVance, like others have said, is a great CPV network. The problem is, with the $1000 deposit, you have to really know what you're doing for it to not go to waste. But once you get some experience under your belt, this may be a place you want to try.

Adon is a network that I would stay away from. I have set up a few campaigns there and never even received a response from them on whether the campaign was approved or declined. Don't really know what's going on there, but I would recommend trying other networks.

DirectCPV is another one. Not very high quality traffic and pretty saturated with competition. You'll see bid prices there for close to $1 per view. Pretty ridiculous, but they are another network that only requires a $200 initial deposit so you may want to give them a shot.

But if I had to steer you in a direction, I would definitely say start with Lead Impact. They have pretty decent customer service (although sometimes campaigns can take 3-5 days to get approved), not too bad of a deposit, and really high quality traffic! Hope that helps!

            Best of Luck,

              Hi CPABrainstormer

Thanks for such a detailed response on PPV and which networks are better than others.

I signed up with Direct CPV and you're right their keyword prices are equal if not more than Google Adwords. I intended to promote a weight loss program but when I saw the price of some keywords were as much as $5, I decided abort that campaign.

Can I ask you, what type of campaigns do you think are more suitable to PPV? Business Opps, Health, Sports, autos etc

              Thx

                Hey affiliatesuperstar,

I think that credit report and auto insurance offers are the way to go with CPV, but that's just because I have seen the best results with those kinds of offers. I like the higher payout offers, simply because the results with CPV are so inconsistent.

For example, I have run several freebie offers (ipad, giftcards, etc.) with CPV and I will get a modest number of conversions. However, those conversions only add up to about $10-15 per day. That's not so great when you are setting up a $10-25 daily budget.

So I have found that by going with the short form offers or free trial offers (payout somewhere between $10-30), I only need to get 2 or 3 conversions for it to add up big time.

Took me a long time to figure out CPV and which offers convert best with this form of advertising, but once you get the hang of it, you can absolutely KILL it. Hope that helps!

                Best of Luck,

From what I understand, PPC is "Pay Per Click"
PPV should be "Pay Per View"

PPV is when people view the ads you make money, PPC require people click the ad you make money.
For example PPV: 5000 impressions, no click, CPM price is $0.2, you make $1.0 in this situation.
PPC: 5000 impressions, no click, you make $0

    Here is some PPV network
    Tribalfusion
    CasaleMedia
    ValueClickMedia
    Advertising.com
    Adpepper
    Adtegrity
    Adperium
    CPX
    BannerConnect

PPV in a nutshell is Adware. While we all relate this phrase with something bad, most of the PPV Networks are eTRUST confirmed.
From my point of view PROS is exceptional traffic capacity & exceptional user base. There traffic translates better than any other PPV network in our estimation. This has a lot to do with the reality that Traffic Vance owns their user base and is not out purchasing traffic from other networks which can sometimes be analysis as junk traffic.

I agree with cpabrainstormer. I have not used some of the networks he mentions but I am currently using LeadImpact. Initial investment is low compared to others for targeted traffic. Keyword costs are minimal and results are respectable. They can be a little slow in response to issues but they do respond. Campaigns for me have normally started within 72 hours of setup. Highly recommend to start with them. Good Luck!

      Hi DFloyd

I'm going to give LeadImpact a try.

What category do you run your campaigns? I tried health and weight loss with Direct CPV but the cost of keywords were too high.

    Hey affiliatesuperstar,

I've been doing a lot of cpv lately and in my experience TrafficVance, LeadImpact and Adon Network are the best ones.

Trafficvance has the most volume and pretty good quality. They only problem is they require a initial $1000 deposit and require 2 referrals. Also, with $1000 you sign up only for the US account. If you want to advertise outside the US you need a separate account. Anyway, if you are serious about PPV you definitively need to work with them.

Leadimpact is a pretty good ppv network. With only $200 to sign up they have a good amount of both US and INTL traffic. The traffic quality is the same or slightly lower than Trafficvance ( probably because they show unlimited ads / user while trafficvance only 6/day/ user). They are second on my list.

Adon Network - They serve their ads as popunders and they work really well for me. Traffic quality is awesome, only problem is that they have really low traffic. You can't spend more than $100/day there in my experience.

MediaTraffic has degraded the last month. I used to push lots of traffic with them but now their traffic seems to not convert for me. Maybe they need new installs to extend their user base?

The above info is all from my personal experience

PPV definitely can make a solid and scalable ROI. I know this because I manage mid and larger affiliate accounts at our network and can see the data flowing in.

If any of you guys are still up for testing sources I can definitely lend my experience on this network to suggest what converts best and get some historical data to base your campaign on.

as far as I know none of these are PPV networks, they are display advertising networks and with some of them you need a couple thousands dollars just to get started a little.

ppv means that you pay for a pop up that is triggered by a software that a person has installed on their computer called adware, it might be a toolbar that they downloaded or a game (trafficvance > gamevance.com) etc...

Media Traffic or Traffic Vance. Each provider has a different target audience so I would work with both and see what works best for you. TV has more volume but the buy in is steep for someone just getting their feet wet.

Some advice... You will need a good chunk of money to do some testing to see what works and what doesn't work. It's a different ballgame than PPC. So if you don't have a good chunk of money to do some testing you might want to save your pennies until you do.

Thanks Brian I know that TV advertising is going to take a huge wad of money so I don't think I'll be going down that route just yet, but I will certainly do some testing to find out what CPA/PPV works best for my niches.

As traffic vance is the best I suppose from whatever money you make on the lesser CPA networks you can save up to join traffic vance at a later stage. You might as well aim for the best!

I also read from other threads that Lead Impact do not allow rotation of offers. That means we have to do multiple similar campaign/offer with different landing page (simulate rotation of offer) ?

I have sent in an enquiry on another question to LI but no answer after about 3 days.

    Hi,

I've personally tried media traffic and lead impact.

Both networks work great, but the results you get really depends on the offer and how you run it.

Certain offers do better in one specific network because the demographics are not equal.

You may want to try Trafficvance as well. When it comes down to cpv, trafficvance is the rolls royce.

    hope this helps,

What I would love to know is, what one should promote with media traffic, and what to promote using lead impact. Examples would be appreciated.
Everyone says one is better than the other one, depending on the offer, but no-one is giving any details. Just curious
What has had success for you using media traffic?
what has had success using lead impact?
No need to tell everyone what your promoting, just what type of niche it falls under. And which one works best for that niche.
