Any one doing strictly article marketing?

Anyone out there doing only or mostly article marketing by submitting a massive amount of articles daily to EZA and other article sites? I've been following Bless5's method this week which got me to thinking about strictly article marketing CPA offers. I've seen on EZA where there are articles that redirect someone from a .info site directly to the CPA landing page. Seems a little too easy but is there really money to be made with that method?

You can do that..will it work - maybe? Let me ask you this...wouldnt it be a better long term strategy to build a list?

You can promote several products to them, survey them get feedback on what they want and scale the info you get (demographics etc') to run other campaigns.

About doing only Article Marketing: 70% of my income comes from article marketing but that doesn't mean I sit every day writing and submitting 100's of articles - there are smarter ways of doing that.

It easier focusing on one source of traffic and one way of monetizing it. It keeps you focused~! With the money you earn you can invest that into other traffic sources and scale your campaigns...

    Regards,
    Yoel

Yes, very true. If you do it the smart way (like I've described above) you can work less.

      Remember, work smarter NOT harder.

Indeed. Smarter thinking does pay off in the long run, I had to learn the hard way by chucking money at Adwords and bearing no results over a long term!

yes there is really money in this. but you also have to rank on the first page of google with those articles. so you need to build links to them.

Yes, article marketing is my MAIN method of marketing CPA offers.

It's cheap, easy, and lucrative! What can be better than that.

The thing is though, that most people do it the wrong way. They write LONG articles, give TO MUCH info in the article, and their resource boxes suck!

My article marketing strategy is to write a very good article that focuses on the PAIN of the problem, and then I finally reveal my solution to this problem in the last couple of paragraphs. Then I finish off with a quick and to the point resource box.

      For example -

Offer - eHarmony Dating Offer for people who are 30+

Article - Focus on the pain of being over 30 and not in a stable relationship. Then talk about how hard it is to find a good man/woman in bars or by going on blind dates. Then talk about the enormous benefits of online dating (pics, profiles, compatibility searches, etc.). Make sure the article is not over 500 words but not under 400.

This method has worked so well for me that I don't have to write a TON of articles and do mass submission. I do build backlinks however.

One last thing, make sure your articles are well written or at least get some GOOD PLR from a GOOD writer.

I myself have just recently started article marketing, and I can realize the potential to turn it into a lucrative traffic source.

Angel in the example of the e-harmony offer, is it that you have website you designed specifically for this offer, or do you use URL redirects that send them to the e-harmony sign up page, or both?

If so which have you seen the best results with so far?

        Thanks

Like any method, article marketing is very lucrative once you do it long enough to learn a good amount about it, think about smart ways to achieve things (like mentioned above), think about ways to automate tasks, think creatively, and put work the work in.

I personally haven't dont a whole lot of article marketing for various reasons, but the point is that if you are going to do it...DO IT. Dont create 3 articles, submit them and just wait for the $100/day to roll in. This is what a lot of people do. First of all, when you first start something, you will undoubtedly not be the best at it, so your three first attempts are going to be modest at best. Your work will get more efficient and effective the more you do it. Secondly, you need to work the power of numbers. Doing one little thing one time will probably only bring a little result at best. Find ways to multiply your efforts or scale your efforts.

I use to do article marketing, and I use to make 1-2 sales today with my own e-book which was $45, so i made $45-$100 a day which isn't bad. the problem is in order for article marketing to work, you have to do it everyday, you have to link to different url links, meaning blogs work better for article marketing (which is why more and more Internet marketers are using blogs for sales pages).

You will need a CRAP load of articles because article marketing has become so saturated. I'm talking 20-40 articles per day must be submitted to at least 5 of the top article directories. Buy articles from Textbroker for $3 a pop and hand submit your articles to 5 of the top article directories...choose your keywords wisely (ones that don't have a lot of competition), and you should do well. Oh, and avoid affiliate programs.....

That is one way to do it but again that's the hard way. I don't mean that it won't work, but there are other ways to do article marketing by writing LESS articles and achieving better residual results.

Search engines are the way to go, but again not the standard way...keywords with low competition will not necessarily send enough traffic and usually those keywords don't have much searches any way. Besides you'll still need to create backlinks and hope to rank.

Learn how to piggyback on the authority and the structure of the article directories and you'll earn more by working less - Leverage!

Instead of just driving traffic to random CPA offers in your article marketing - you might want to try to focus in and pick one niche. Create a nice blog for that niche and get some content on it. Quality, unique content that actually serves a use for the reader.

Then find low competition keywords for the niche and write articles about those for your blog - and write more unique articles to point back to each article on your site. Article marketing does work all on it's own - but why not build a site, a following, and a list out of it instead of just pointing them to a CPA offer never to see them again?

Personally I focus first on EZA and work on ranking my articles for keywords that get good search volume (using my own system). Then I would submit to the top article directories maybe 5 or 6 of them. That's where I get most of the traffic with EZA being #1.

I would then spin the articles a bit and use SeNuke or UAW mainly for backlinks to the articles and to my websites. That would give more authority and less traffic but in the long run it pays off!

I have several article distribution services that I use for my articles. UAW, Linkvana, SEO Link Vine, Submit Your Article and Article Marketing Automation.

If you are using the method I showed you then you don't need to have entirely unique articles. You should write unique articles for your main site, and then a different set of articles to place into the distribution services. So yes you want unique articles - but no not for every distribution.

You will need unique articles for ezine though, and a few other directories.

My method is mainly about getting backlinks to your own site and ranking for the keywords you are targeting per article.

      Author TOS:

      9.

You declare that you will not send in any articles with direct affiliate links in them. We reject articles with direct affiliate links. It is ok, however, forward/redirect to an affiliate link from the top-level of a domain name you own. For example, it is permissible to forward to an affiliate link from:

      hxxp:// your-company-name .com/

...but it would not be permissable to forward to an affiliate link from:

      hxxp:// your-company-name.com/page .html
      hxxp:// your-company-name.com/subdirectory/
      hxxp:// your-company-name.com/subdirectory/page .html

This is one of our many article quality standards.

This is not the right way to do it. Before I take the paid route I managed to make a consistent income with article marketing, but not this way. Instead of submitting massive amounts of articles I was submitting very few articles in the beginning (I had to outsource and was short on money), but always targeting keywords that I could rank for. I would never even think about writing (outsourcing) an article without knowing exactly what keyword to target.

After getting my artciles approved I started generating backlinks. With a simple yet very effective link wheel my articles (some of them) got to the first page of Google and started making me some money.

Also, instead of pointing the links to the offer or simple landing page, I used almost exclusively squeeze pages to capture leads. Then I promoted the offers using autoresponder series.

I used to promote Clickbank products instead of CPA offers, but I think that it can be even more profitable with lead gen offers.

Just do article marketing properly and you will make a very nice budget to get started with paid methods.
