    There must be good reason to not promote these types of sites if it means losing revenue for these companies. Google I know want to give their visitors a good experience when they search and land on a page. Maybe with so many offers of the types you list they feel the experience of the visitor to the site is not best served.

    Thanks for pointing this out. What percentage of the CPA market would you say the types of offer you listed represent?

    Why not try banner networks and go for the long-term SEO strategy?

    I'm also got some good results with one network (a highly targeted niche network) that's good for promoting Credit/Biz Opps/Education offers. PM if you want to read the report when I'm finish with it.

    It's really no more tougher than it was last year, or the year before, or the year before.. things just change..

    That is the thing about the internet. Things change and they change fast. You must be resilient and flexible with your business model to adapt to theses changes as they happen.

    New traffic sources and methods open up and old ones dry out. Its how it is and how it has been. If you limit your business sight to only those things you are currently doing, then eventually you will hit a dead end. You always need to be looking to find new methods and traffic based on current trends in the market.

    This also speaks to diversification. Make sure your income is coming from more than one area. Its all about creating a sustainable business.

    YouTube can be a good source of traffic. Make a quick video, even just using Animoto, do some keyword research and upload the video. Get some subscribers and make some friendly non-spam postings and you can get decent traffic that converts.

      I'm doing great with article marketing, blogs and occasionally craigslist. I've tried a lot of the other methods out their and marketing CPA offers through articles is the easiest money I ever made.

    You can "kill it" with any method there is out there...you just need to get good at that method. Im sure millionaires were made with

    PPC --> CPA
    Article --> CPA
    SEO --> CPA
    Offline --> CPA
    Facebook --> CPA
    Myspace --> CPA
    Craigslist --> CPA
    Bum --> CPA
    PPV --> CPA
    Media --> CPA

    Just need to get good at any one of those

        According to FB advertising guidelines, Dating offers are allowed as long as they don't have sexual enphasis, however, I've heard they are banning dating offers as well, even without sexual enphasis.

        Based on my reading of their Advertising Guidelines I believe almost every niche is banned from networks like facebook. It has also been my personal experience with them, it's has been very difficult to have ads approved.
        I think you don't know the offers which works on facebook, just do some research. Try to run dating on facebook, if you can create nice ad copies then you can do well there.

    Yup you are right. Most of the ad networds, especially Google is trying to provide the best experience for their advertisers. I think its better to concentrate on Organic traffic to improve CPA earnings. If not, buying traffic is also a good method.

    Mario, You are overthinking it.

    Tons of people are still making money with CPA.

    Affiliate Marketing is an industry that will change overnight, it's always been difficult, it's not getting more difficult, it's just changing.

    Yahoo and MSN are still much more relaxed than Google. But there are so many different places to advertise don't restrict yourself.

    The title of the thread is WHO IS KILLING CPA

    The truth is that deceptive marketers are tainting the industry, but not killing it. It still is and will always be a great and valuable business model for all involved. Unfortunately, these deceptive and unethical marketers are holding back the even larger potential the industry has.

    Who is KILLING IT WITH CPA? Thats a different question. The answer...a lot of people are. Each has their own style, their own preferred traffc source, their own method. There are a million ways to make a million with CPA. Each traffic source is gold if your an alchemist.

    Many successful CPAers are simply just very good alchemists
