I have one big tips to make plenty of profits using facebook ads:dont think of a product to promote to facebook users but just try to think of people belonging
to some kind of groups and interest getting promoting by products they would be interest in and they would give money for it.

        Dave3000, that's good advice.

Mark, I find Facebook traffic not to be so cheap. Sometimes they want 0.90 - 2.00 per click.

Mark, the point to save a lots of money with facebook ads is to start your campaign using a cpc daily budget and to try many version of your ads (pictures, titles, messages) to see which one of your ads offers the most CTR and then change your cpc budget into a CPM (cost-per-mille-impressions) budget which is very cheap.

          for exemple:
lets say you're targeting Moms who play casual games. the cost-per-click can easily reach 1,5-2$. So if you got 1000 clicks it will cost you about 1500-2000$.
But if you manage to create a kick ass ads which offer a fat big CTR(lets say 15%) the money you would be saving is insane because you will have to pay 1,5$ every 1000 impressions and with a CTR of 15% it would bring you 150 clicks.
and paying 1,5$ for 150 clicks is definitively worth the price.

but getting a CTR of 15% on facebook is hard staff because most of facebook user dont give a **** of your ads they are to busy gossiping about who slept with who, what they ate at breakfast.....

          hope I help you

            Hey guys,

The trick with Facebook ads is extreme niche targeting. If you are coming on FB expecting to be able to target all men age 30-45 with your weight loss offer and get cheap clicks -- it's not going to happen.

The trick is to have good keyword targeting -- really dive into what your potential audience is interested in. For example -- if you're promoting a gaming offer, what types of games are similar to the one that you're promoting? Target people/groups that are interested in those games.

Once you have your targeting setup -- make sure your ad is extremely relevant -- try putting your keyword in the headline (if it makes sense to).

When you're starting your campaign, make sure you're testing a boatload of ads (I usually do around 20) with different pictures, ad copies, and headlines. After a day or so of letting your ads run, eliminate ones that have a lower than .08% CTR, take your winners, and continue to test more ads. You pretty much want to be shooting for a .08% ctr minimum or your clicks are going to cost way too much money. The best CTR's are going to come from the most relevant ads to your target audience.

Also -- if you have the cash, I would recommend getting Facebook Ads Manager -- lets you upload multiple ads at once. If you're doing 20 ads at a time ( which you should for testing), it saves HOURS.

            Hope that helped you guys.

So by keyword targeting - I suppose you guys are talking about users likes and interests? I would love to know a little more on this. Have been researching on this thing for quiet sometime.

I think I agree. Micro Targeting the audience is the best way.

On a larger scale - I think lets look at it this way. Right Offer Marketed to Right Audience equals Profits. But again, picking the right offer may not be too hard. But are you good enough to market to the right audience? J/K. I think that's where the keywords etc would come into play.

Would love for someone to shed a little light on what their keyword targeting methods are?

It's pretty much a matter of just finding things that your demographic is interested in -- if you're targeting internet marketing, for example, what books do they read? A big one is "Think and Grow Rich" by Napoleon Hill.

If you're targeting people in weight loss -- maybe "The Biggest Loser" would be a good keyword for you.

Do you kind of see where I'm going with this? Think a little broad in terms of your demographic.

Advertise your page and then put FBML on it and force them to click "like' and then send the traffic to your website with CPAlead gateway and then they automatically put offers for that country there. So you just need to find whatever is related to your page the most, if not just test them all at once and whatever has the highest EPC, is probably the best.
