Search Restrictions on landing pages or direct traffic?

When an offer states it has certain search restrictions.. does this only apply when doing direct-link PPC?
Can you still used the restricted words if your search ad goes to a landing page and the user has to input or click a link to access the offer?

I really want to start my PPC campaign tonight but don't want to break the advertisers policies.

What do 'Search Regulations' apply to?

I'm no authority by any means, but it has been my experience that it depends on the affiliate manager. The one constant piece of advise that I have got is to contact the affiliate manager in matters such as this. They can be your biggest asset in regards to keyword selection (they may have a list to give to you). They can also point you to the hot offers.
