My first $1000+ Day with CPA Marketing. Proof inside

Hi Warriors, i am very excited today as i had my first $1k day yesterday, i have been hitting $400-$700 from some time but earned $1k+ in a single day for the first time.

I will also like to add that this is all from the free traffic, i tried paid methods like PPC, PPV etc but failed in that.

This has been possible only because of the knowledge i have gained on this forum.

Also i would like to add that my first $100/day was not easy, its took to around 8 months to reach that target, but after that it has been just rinse and repeat kind of thing, i promote 5-8 campaigns per month, some fail and some earn me good money. The best thing with CPA are they convert much higher that those Clickbank or any other CPS offer.

On January 2010, It took me 2 weeks to get to my first $100/day net profit point, but after that, I stopped. I was lucky to make money while learning, not all people can get that kind of result initially. So yes, John, you got the point. It wasn't really that easy as others has illustrated, for the first $100/day net profit.

Guess that you've done a lot of testing and tracking huh?

Nice work man. I remember when I hit my first $1k day back in the day it was one of those days that you will always remember. Just keep it up man and soon you will be flipping $2k, $3k days and so on. Nice work brotha!

Hi, thanks for all the comments guys, i will answer some of the questions asked above..

Regarding the type of offers, i promote all kind of offers from Health to pet related. I get the list of top converting offers from my AM. Yes, AM is your best friend when it comes to the stats of the offers, they know which offers are converting high and for what kind of traffic.

As i posted in main post, all of my traffic is free, i have wordpress blogs where i have product reviews and i targeted the related niche keywords, then i do link building using articles, Press releases, videos etc.. Since these type of keywords has less competition, i normally get first page ranking in 1-3 weeks depending on competition.

Regarding the WSO, no i am here on forums from more than 2 years and not done any WSO, to be honest English is not my first language and its not easy for me to write a ebook or do videos. (Don't be surprised by sales pitch of link in my signature, its written by another warrior)

I have to agree with Ryan, when you reach $1k or any other target you wanted, you get more motivated to move towards your goal.

Congrats. What CPA affiliate programs are you with. I haven't tried CPA before and I would like to get into it. What kind of website do you promote your CPA on? what it hard to get approved by them. I ask this becuz I tried once and I was not approved by a CPA affiliate, so I'm just asking around to see what is working and what isn't for some people. Cheers

I have account with 4-5 networks but i only use Hydra and Marketleverage. I have blogs on which i promote the CPA offers. Regarding the approval, its not that hard, just call them up after you submit your application. Check this thread for more info

Mixture of both, i have bought many CPA related products and also CPA WSOs, but only around 15% of them were good. Now i do not buy any CPA WSO, most of the sellers just combine 6-7 old methods like youtube, iframing etc, package them in ebook and sell here. But i learned a lot from Jeremy's CPA bootcamp.

  I have beena clickbank affiliate and made some signisficant progress over the last couple of months. I made 1k in three months and was totally new to all this but am getting frustrated by the low conversations at clickbank. Guess CPA is the way to go...I will be in touch John...

Yes, i have few sites promoting CB products, most of these are high gravity products, but they convert at lower rate, may be 1 in 150-200 clicks and all these clicks being from SE visitors. I tried changing my sites layout, content etc, but earnings did not change much. Lead generation is a way to go...

Yes, i do article marketing on large scale, for each site i submit articles to top directories like ezine, goarticles, buzzle etc and then i also use article syndication networks like UAW, SEO linkvine, Article marketing automation etc for the content syndication, this result in more backlinks and traffic for the site i am promoting.

Congrats buddy, that rocks!

$1000 is quite a hurdle. I agree with you, I think getting to the $100 a day profit milestone was more difficult and emotionally drawing than going from the $100 to $1000 mark. No less exciting though!

By no means is either milestone easy, but in my experience, it gets incrementally more easy and then plateaus out.

Lets chase the next milestone together! And again, congrats.

Earnings are relative. I remember how excited I would get if I broke $50.

Sort of wish I could get myself to get that excited now. Its still fun and exciting to have great days, but its just not the same as those first $50 or $100 days.

LOL! Ken, my happiest moment wasn't the first $100/day or so. It was my very first sale after 3-4 years of struggling with information overload, not taking action, etc.

After my first sale made on CB, that's where my business traveling in a faster pace

Yes, thats what I try and tell people. In this business, its amazing how exponential earnings can be. Again, the internet is about scale and scaling whatever you are doing.

If you can find that one way to make $50 per day, then it isn't rocket science is pimp it up to $500 per day by rinse and repeating or scaling the one campaign, or using the same concept in a different way. With that said, it shouldn't be rocket science to then get that $500 to $5000.

The tough part is getting that first $50/day idea.

Of course there is a limit to how much you can do because most markets and niches have some sort of constraints so its not like you can then turn that $500/day into $50,000 day or $500,000/day.

I have only made £7.94 in the last month after being online full time for 6 months (newbie) and that was exciting

i get info overload and keep swapping which way to turn, blogs, videos, (of which i have both). Having joined Warrior and finding your posts on cpa (great info, thank you) i think that's where i will focus my attention and utilize what i have learned, as one of my videos gets 500 hits a day (nearly 20,000 hits in 3 months) so i am doing something right!! I will be buying Rags to Riches soon.
I spend up to 16 hours most days on my computer learning about IM and have days where i am so extremely frustrated and then have really exciting days like today. I won't give up and have been determined to make a living online now since i first started.
I found your post above quite funny, the comparison of how opposite we both are financially and earnings being relative. I really look forward to my £50 days.

Hey Cindy,

The awesome part is that you know exactly what you are doing wrong...the jumping bean syndrome as I like to call it. Try one thing for a few days, hit a road block or read another sales letter and jump to something else. And so on...

Okay, so now you know you have to focus. CPA is a good place to settle because its good for people of all talents, skill levels, and experience levels. BUT, its very easy to jump around within CPA as well. Its a wide industry with many directions, so make sure you stay focused on your specific path within CPA as well.

Not sure what the exchange rate is with you all from the UK, but I am assuming your £7.94 isnt a lot of money?? Again, lets look at the positive side of things. You made your first dollar. Thats a tough hurdle many people dont even get to!! Now its important to find something that works...anything. Even if it is $1 a day. Once you find something that works, now its time to...

Figure out WHY is works
Figure out ways to make it work better (optimize)
Then either rinse and repeat it many times. 10 times = $10 per day. This is the power of numbers theory I go into in the Rags2Riches guide as you will soon see.
Or, if possible, try scaling your method if possible beyond repeating...different traffic sources etc.

Reading posts on WF is definitely helping me focus. As for my specific paths for CPA i have a fair few domain names doing nothing, one has freestuff in the title. I have 25 youtube names of my own scattered with just a few of my videos which i can utilise, so all my backround "stuff" i have collected fits within CPA.
I have used youtube toolbox once to explode one of my sites, and with other "tricks n treats" on WF look forward to earning some dollar.

My friend who used to do mlm always repeats the phrase "it's a numbers game" and it's so true. Oh yes my £7.94 is $12 which i am so proud of

for you to succeed at IM, you need to get one thing right - "FOCUS".
There is way too much to take in on this and other forums. IM is broad and you need to concentrate on one thing at a time until you get some good money out of it.
I did this with ClickBank and bang - I hit over $1000 in less than three months yet I was a total newbie. So its possible.

Are your blogs only reviews, or are niche contents site where you promote the offers? Or more specifically are the blogs specifically aimed at the product offer?

Its on autopilot now because i have done the hard work setting up the sites, content and getting sites to page 1 of google, now i just update them 2-3 times a week. I have posted earlier in this thread regarding the promotion, i do article marketing, videos, press release to build the backlinks.

No zip offers, i mostly promote trial offer with payout of $10+. They convert at very high rate.

I'm just curious about something. Do you outsource any of your work? For 1k/day I guess serious work is needed and was wondering if you can handle it yourself.

I wish you only 1k+ days from now on!

Yes, i outsource almost everything except product and keyword research, i am good at that lol. The things i outsource is article writing ( i do submission myself), PR writing, social bookmarking, videos etc.

Most of the sites target the niche related keyword and sometime product name keywords. For example if i want to promote **** berry, my site will have 2-3 posts on **** berry and 3-5 articles on weight loss. Each of these weight loss articles will have a link to my **** berry review and on right sidebar, i normally have 2 banners of the product i am promoting.

Bingo. Its always better to have a longer term view when it comes to CPA marketing. Some people hit big on a trend campaign and once it fades, they can't make 1/100th of what they were making!

Got accepted in a CPA network for the first time ever

- AzoogleAds. Oh yeah, I know the nature of offers at a bookish level, but implementing them is a different ball game.

So, now time for me to work on CPA. A basic question - when you say you promote 5-8 offers every month and some succeed and some do not, do you mean that you do not promote the same offers (at least similar offers) over and over?

Want to know this since SEO is one of my strengths, but once my site would be on the first page I would need to find a related alternative offer if my current offer expires.

If you are doing SEO, I would suggest perhaps building your site around a solid, sustainable niche enabling you to interchange CPA offers as they come or go....or to build it around a CPA offer that your affiliate manager says has been around and will be around for a long time to come...make sure it converts well with SEO (ask AM).

Ive seen people put tremendous work into building ranked SEO CPA sites around a specific offer that dies and then they cant find a good replacement offer.

Looks like youre on the road to success!

No i do not use any specific companies, i just know few guys who do backlinking stuff, Odesk and getafreelancer are good place to look for these people.

5> No i do not set up landing pages, i set up blogs, my main review for the product is always a wordpress page. Then i also have related niche articles on the same site.
6>Not sure what you mean but yes i do article marketing on large scale, i use varios content syndication networks like Unique article wizard, AMA to distribute by content. Yes, they link back to my review page and inner pages.
7>Both, i outsource video creation and submission.
8> Most of the PR sites allow 2 anchor text backlinks, so i mainly target main keyword to home page and 1 anchor text link to inner page.
9> I do have some of the tools you mentioned but i do not use them much, manual submission is much better, so the guy who i outsource take care of this, yes its very important to vary your anchor text.

Exactly, after promoting offers in certain niche and seeing the conversions, you will get the idea about these offers, for some reason teeth whitening offers did not worked for me.

It's also important to remember that there is normally a decent variance in profits with most types of CPA campaigns so you may be do an average of $3000/day for a few weeks, but if most of that is from one campaign and the campaign dies out, then next month you may be averaging $300/day or less.

Of course getting than first $1, $100, $1000, and $10000 days are still huge and monumental milestones, even if they arent necessarily consistent.

Ok, not gonna lie, $1k a day with free traffic is pretty damn cool.... congrats to you. You got a lot more patience than me, all my stuff is paid traffic.

Now that you know converting keywords and have a lot of backlinking and such to those sites, you could probably kill it with adding paid traffic streams.

  Your first $1000 day is within reach. Thats the good news. The bad news is thats its going to be hard work to get there. Think big, but think logically and methodically.
  
  Set up a strategy, an action plan, and goals. My advice is to com eup with a more comprehensive business plan, but at the very least you need to have a clear vision on what you want and how you will get there.

A - when you apply to a CPA network and get accepted, you will be assigned an affiliate manager. This is like an account rep that will help you with questions about the network, the offers, and they are a phenomenal resource because they have statistics about all the offers.

You should contact your affiliate manager right when you are accepted to introduce yourself. As I said, they are a great resource, so its important to start off on the right foot. Give them a call, and introduce yourself and tell them what you do and how you plan to promote offers.

B - Ask your affiliate manager how and what you should promote. Based on your experience and goals, this will differ between everybody, so let your affiliate manager know more about you and they can give you some good steps to take to start making some cash!!!

This is exactly the path Im heading down, promote sites with reviews and info and then when the traffic is there .. bang CPA offers onto them.

I havent a clue yet how to go about the CPA stuff but its reasuring to know that this model works well.

Im crap at the article writing stuff though, so Im having to outsource and this is slowing me down although I know Im not far away to ramping things up.

Its easy to see this working when you see your pages climbing in the serps daily from a few article submissions, even sites with low cost products that dont make much money could actually be turned into very profitable sites with the traffic and right offers.

I,ve got one right now that makes very little with low cost amazon products but with some promotion could easily become a good money earner with CPA bolted onto it.

I'm working almost exclusively with PPC now, but I think that this information can be important in the near future. Yep, it gets incrementally easier. I think most people would agree that going from 500 a day to 1000 a day is significantly easier than going from 0 a day to 50 a day. Its just the way it is.

In essence, the tough part is finding something that works. Scaling that something isnt nearly as difficult as just finding it, thus the first dollars are always harder than boosting ones income once a winner is found!

To a certain extent, having money makes making money easier.

BUT, most people who have a lot of money (from my experience) started out with very little. They just re-invested what they did have to grow profits exponentially.

I started out doing bum and offline marketing to earn money to invest into my online endeavors.

Bootstrapping is more than just 'getting by'...its a perspective and mental discipline that will take you far in any business venture you approach.

It's not that easy, but true to some extent. People who have money or who do not have to worry much about making payment will have more option. They're not stress out by money making opportunities that present to them (they're not desperate). Therefore, they can make better judgement.

But then again, those who are desperate, have more motivation and desire to make money in many circumstances, which can lead to working harder, pushing through seemingly insurmountable obstacles, etc.

Many of the very wealthy people (not just limited to IM) out there started with nothing...true rags to riches stories. They just wanted it more than the others who had more resources!

Thanks guys, couple of members asked me which network i use, as i mentioned before, i have accounts with 7-8 networks but i am only using Hydra and Marketleverage, they both combined have 1000s of offers in various niches. But its always a good option to join few good networks as some networks offer more payout for same offer in other networks.

Doesn't Hydra require at least 10K visitors or more per month for traffic to even be considered for acceptance? How about Marketleverage?

That figure has been purported on several forums.

Just wondering what your experience has been, as far as what they require, in terms of traffic per month.

BTW, how are you doing per day now?

10k visitors for getting approved? There is no such rule as far as i know, but you do need a referral to get into the network, i mean they are referral based network now.

Marketleverage is bit easy to get into, complete the application form and follow up with a call. As always, you will be asked basic questions.

Both these networks are top networks with lot of offers and i always get paid on time.

I have even read some people posting that Hydra is scam, they do not pay etc...those are from people who have never worked with them, so just ignore them.

The screenshots i have posted on this thread is from Hydra network itself.

To answer last part of your question, i am averaging $800-$1200/day. So just for a change, here is screenshot from Marketleverage http://i31.tinypic.com/2jcwm86.jpg

Hey John,

Thanks for posting your success.

Question for you on you link building:

1. Are the blogs your building aged domains or newly registered?

2. How quickly are you building your links? i.e. are you drip feeding your articles through UAW, and other link networks? Or just blasting your articles out all at once as soon as they are written.

I also belong to all the services you mentioned (UAW, SEOLV, etc) but where i'm hung up is how many submissions should i make a day.

Any thoughts on your link building and velocity would be really helpful.

1> I set them up on new domains.

2>I set up the site and basically get it indexed in 24 hours, i submit to digg and identica and in some cases i do social bookmarking as well.

Once the site is indexed, i do a press releases and also submit articles to UAW, i drip feed at the rate of 30, you have option in UAW to set that.

Then i also do video submission and web 2.0 submission, i mostly outsource or do it using senuke.

Then in a week time, i also submit the article to AMA and Seolinkvine. Sometimes i also do or outsource blog posts on high PR blogs.

So basically it comes down to 1 week of promotion and in 2-3 weeks ,i normally get to first page rankings.

Make sure you build links to inner pages as well and also rotate your anchor text.

These techniques are nothing new. This is what every free traffic guide has told us... multiple, quality links from a variety of sources. the difference is that John has stayed with it and done the work. Most of us just want the magic bullet.

Those who are asking for his specific sites, specific outsourcers, etc.... it doesn't matter. use whatever you think is best. You will get the same results if you do the same work

EXACTLY!

CPA is not brain science and making 1k a day is very very doable for everybody if they just strap up their boots and put in some solid and creative work.

That is one of the most frustrating things about CPAers...soo many of them just jump around and dont put in a full effort and go weeks, months, years without results.

Picture this...I told a family member something I was doing which was seeing tremendous results and it was somthing soo simple. No SEO, no PPC, no technical knowledge at all, just some good old manual work (which can even be outsourced). Even giving him everything he needs to do the same thing, he still ended up going nowhere with it.

He literally had all the pieces to the puzzle and all he had to do was put them together. But most CPA campaigns are like doing a puzzle. Its tough at first when you have nothing to work with and all the pieces in front of you but as you start plugging away and putting the puzzle together, things get easier. There are less pieces ot work with and you incrementally get faster and better results. The same is true with CPA.

So my advice...

-Stop asking questions
-Stop seeking specifics
-Just start doing
-Make some mistakes and then take more action
-Then take more action
-Then get over the obstacle in your way
-Then take more action

There is plenty of money for the taking here if you want it bad enough and are willing to get it yourself. Start seeking answers for yourselves!
