Article writing - Good for free trail offers??

Hey Warriors,

I having been exploring article writing and I was thinking that the best avenue to take with this would be to write reviews on products/free trails. Such as "As seen on TV" product or something along those line. I would think that promoting higher paying offers with articles is a better idea then going for email/zip submits. Is this a good idea? Has anyone had any success doing something similar??

Thank you in advance warriors!

I have never used article marketing for CPA, but I did use it in the past for Clickbank products and got decent results. So I assume that if it's possible to promote Clickbank products it's also possible to promote free trials. However, it doesn't mean that free trials will perform better than email and short form submits... I think you will have to make some tests to figure it out.

Hi Sean, not much of an article writer myself, but it works. Everything is worth a try right!

Some people focus on low layout simple submit offers and other on high payout offers. Just pick whatever YOU want to do and go with it. Its better to just do it, whatever it is, then to ask if its a good idea.

anything and everything is worth testing...if its free or cheap traffic! Thats my philosophy

Very true guys. Testing is key. I just like hearing success stories of a certain method. I've already written a couple articles for simple submit offers. I think I'm going to hammer out a couple of the free trail/product ones and see what comes out of it. Like you said Kenster EVERYTHING is worth trying, especially when its FREEE. Thanks for the advices guys!

I do a lot of article marketing and it's hit or miss depending on how I structure the article.
Reviews work for some offers and bomb for others.

I prefer to make the reader feel some discomfort about thier situation and offer a solution. Lead them down a path to the offer.

If you spy on your competetion you can create articles a lot faster.

Here are the steps I use.

    1. Type in the keyword or product name in the search box at ezine.
    2. Look at the newest results
3 . See if there are authors writing mutiple articles in that niche and what category they are submitting to.
4 . See if the other authors are changing thier resourse box
5 . Get keywords from the most viewed articles.

Once I have my keywords I head over to Amazon and just plug in the keywords into the bestseller section under books. This is a great way to get ideas and catchy titles.

    Hope this helps

It definitely works quite well .

BUT , I recommend promoting info products , they somehow convert better even though customers have to pay . Mainly because these readers want to read and learn more not get a free trial for something .

Thanks Mark! I was thinking of something like a weight loss supplement or something along those lines. That way it would target the ppl that are thinking about getting the product. but would like to read about it first. I think your right with informational products tho. I've heard a lot of good stuff about articles and info products.
