It's as effective as you make it. For some people it works, for some it doesn't. The best advice I can give you is to try it for yourself... afterall it's free.

Consistent backlinking plus if you publish a well written article it can go viral through autoblogging and RSS. Very good for serps.

Honestly, I think you'll be needing to do more than 10 articles a week for 5 weeks.. unless you mean your submitting those 10 to several directories

I have use article marketing to promote CB products in the past and often times to build lists. I think that you can get some results even if you can't write a lot of articles. For me, the secret was to write articles to rank on search engines. Google was my main traffic source, not EziniArticles or any other article directories.

Make some keyword research (using AdWords Keyword Tool, WordTracker and Keyword Elite 2.0), create (outsource if you can) keyword rich articles, post them on EZA (there are others, but I still consider EZA the best article directory) and create some link wheels with Blogger, Wordpress and other article directories to generate backlinks for your main articles. You can also use spinners such as Mass Article Control to generate content for your link wheels (never for the main articles).

It requires some work, but can be effective.

2. Submit to all article directories
3. Link Building intelligently.

Its not about work only. its about how intelligent you will work. In both cases you will have to work

for sure.

So research something so you can take most of your efforts

Very uneffective and a very weak form of promotion in my opinion. I'd never, ever suggest it to an affiliate and I've never seen an affiliate scale it.

Since you are already working on JV's and are comfortable talking to other site owners, you need to go a completely different direction with Article Marketing to have the highest results possible.

Write those 10 articles, but offer them as exclusive content to other site owners with a link back to your squeeze page. By doing this, you create the potential for higher quality visitors and create more JV opportunities at the same time.

Article Marketing does not equal Article Directories. Article Marketing is about using written content, in the form of articles, to market yourself, products, and list.

If you are asking me how effective is posting 10 articles per week in EZA going to be in building your list, not very effective. If you put the articles in the right places though, it could be explosive.

I have used article marketing effectivly for seo purposes and do follow backlinks from high pr sites but have never got much traffic - I think you need to decide why you are doing it and do one or the other. Either optimize for SEO or write to get traffic.

Its pretty effective way of marketing only if you know how to do it correct way, blasting out articles to ezine does not work anyone, there are some good posts on article marketing in war room and Main forum, check that out.

I've found that it's easy to rank an article for a specific keyphrase (3-4 words) with AB or EZA, and I mean in under a week. This would be a lot harder with a brand-new, standalone domain name. Of course, if you link to a new site on such a domain name, then it would get indexed quickly, since Google's already got your article ranked high.

As far as affiliate success, I've had some articles that I wrote and posted over a year ago just now start bringing in revenue. It's weird that it took so long for it to monetize my efforts.

Article marketing is great but it will depend on the product you are promoting. You should first think about the market that the article directory serves. You can see this in the most viewed articles section. This will show you the niches that makes it big in article marketing.

Depends on the type of video ... if you're this really fit and sculpted guy that gives info on fitness and bodybuilding you're gonna have a lot of traffic ... if you're just making moviemaker vids with pictures and slides you'll need a lot of them. Funny videos also work. Some of them will go viral (not many though) and will bring you good traffic.

i think John34 has a thread there telling he had break $1000/day barrier.
Recently I've asked about article marketing because its one of the best free traffic out there and some people shying away from paid traffic and boost their free traffic (article marketing) like creating 10-20 articles a day.

Actually I think its very depends on what niche it is you are running. In my humble opinion, I think those who are reading, they are there to find free information and very low percentage of them ready to commit a transaction.

You can outsource - fiverr seems the best place for you to post your dirty job.
Getting a good writer is not easy.
