Anyone use CPAway? I'm Ultra frustrated =/

Hello,

It's probably the worse webpage ever. No FAQ or direction anywhere. It's awful for someone who is new imo.

This is my problem. Once I've joined a campaign and I'm ready to start sending traffic their way, I click on 'get code' and it gives me a few options:

First at the very top it gives me an example code:
http://partners.cpaway.com/trackingc...kid=XXX&subid=Sub-ID Here

This is automatically frustrating because I don't know what Sub-ID means and there is nothing named "Sub-ID" on their entire site.

Campaign Name: Random
Campaign ID: 2222
Campaign Payout:$3.50/lead
Campaign Description: Search: YES - What does this mean?
Email: NO - Same... what does it mean?
Banner: YES - What does it mean?
Countries: USA
Tracking:REALTIME

Pays $3.50

Keep in mind I just got accepted today, and have no idea of the lingo or jargon. There is no FAQ, description etc to fill me in.

Then the links I can use :

http://partners.cpaway.com/trackingc...d=33333&subid=

This is the direct link to the landing page, though it doesn't have the ole "subid".

http://partners.cpaway.com/get_track...2&linkid=33333

This gives me a link to their banner to use in html / php (I think)

<a href='http://partners.cpaway.com/trackingcode.php?aid=2222&linkid=33333&subid='><im g border='0' width='468' height='60' src='http://partners.cpaway.com/get_trackingcode_banner.php?aid=2222&linkid=33333' ></a>

This is basically it - I know it's a bit of a rant but getting these questions answered will be awesome!

Tyvm,
Pickoshe

I know this might sound like a generic answer, but hitup your Affiliate Manager. He/She should be able to lead you in the right direction. Explain to them how you plan to market the campaign; Email, Search, Banner, Social, Etc... He/She will be able to tell you what campaigns convert the best in the niche you are promoting in, what links to use, etc...

      EnvyusBrian,

I'm not sure if you are aware or not, but you commented on my other thread about my AM trying to convince me that convert means I'll only get paid for <enter converted % here>. I'm not sure if he is capable or not. Also, they are closed right now.

I've been amped all day about getting started with this, I get home from work and still cannot get it started. as soon as I get accepted into another network, I'm going.

SubID is a parameter that you can pass through the URL. It may help you track your campaign. For example, with ad #1 you can use the subid 1, and with ad #2 the subid 2. Then, for example, when you generate a report you will see that x% of your conversions came from ad #1 and y% from ad #2. It can be used to track keywords, traffic sources, landing pages, etc...

    Campaign Name: Random

Campaign Description: Search: YES - What does this mean?
It means that it can be promoted on search engines (PPC).

Email: NO - Same... what does it mean?
It means that it cannot be promoted by email.

Banner: YES - What does it mean?
It means that you can promote the offer with banners on sites and blogs.

you just show up a example of sub-id=1,subid=2.
can I use this, subid=adwords,so I konw the conversation come from adowrd.
subid=facebook,so I konw the conversation come from facebook.

        can I ?
Correct you can add ANYTHING you wish to the end of url.

        &subid=facebook

You can take it a step further if you wish and do something like
        &subid=facebook&subid2=ad1

Just note there is no space or hyphen between the B and I in subid...

In your export function it would show both for you on each lead. You can do this for up to 5 subids.

Sorry for bumping a semi-old thread, however I felt it was needed for this case. Thanks to those of you who have already responded.

Pickoshe - if you are still having any problems, or have any questions along the way, please feel free to email or aim myself directly. I'm sorry that you found our interface confusing, but I would be happy to answer any questions you may still have about it.

Also - I read your other thread relating to the conversion rates.

We do not have any preset conversion rate for any offer, so I apologize if there was a misunderstanding regarding that issue, and if you would like I would be happy to clear up any questions you still may have about this.

Please feel free to reach out to me.

Hi, I have just submitted my application on your network. I got email from your network asking for promotion methods and experience. I was glad to reply for them immediately. Just when I noticed that the sender email address was something like new [at] yahoo [dot] com . I was confused. Why is it so? Why you are not using a real email ID? Or Is it some fake email I have got in the name of cpaway? Please reply me..

Mods: Can I post email id in threads?

If u are using multiple ads format for single offers u can use sub-id to differentiate which ads format traffic converts most. Also u sub-id u can give your own custom like abcd, 1234

          anything wrong?
Can you Private Message me more information on this, such as your name and what the email was about so I can look into it for you. Please note the that we are on the East Coast of the USA, so EST (GMT -5). Also while she does have email access to email on her phone, she is not "in the office" on the weekends, so depending on the issue it may have had to wait until normal business hours. Mission critical situations are typically handled right away by our account managers.

Unless there is another thread in WF regarding this query, can anyone provide info on how much they are making with CPAWAY? It seems there are logistics questions on this program but not much info on how potent/how much. Thanks.

    Hey

Any CPA network that doesnt allow you to host and post your own leads and just gives you an affiliate link to put on your sites isnt worthwhile IMO.

If you wanna get rich look for offers that allow you to build your own sites and implement the lead capture form via iframe or php forms. Anything else is just small-fry IMO.

Now I understand. aid mean affiliate id, not advertiser id. Then, sub id is campaign identity.

    Thanks for Allaah.

and thanks for you too guys..

CPAway is the first CPA Network I have dealt with also. I have found them to be very helpful and professional, and I have already made some good sales in my first month.

You shouldn't just write them off because you aren't given an entire manual on what basic CPA terms mean - use the Google and enter "CPA" + "sub-ID" and you can learn all about it yourself.

If you are not able or willing to put in a little effort as a newbie to figure out - on your own - how the basics things work and why they exist, you probably won't put in the really hard work it takes to acually succeed at IM.
