Frustrated with Facebook

I am SO frustrated with facebook. I have submitted several ads and they keep getting declined!! I have tried lots of different areas (work at home, singles, diet, etc). I keep being told that I'm violating this or that guideline and I'm about ready to give up!
With the singles ads, it said that it needed to be targeted towards 18+ (but I chose over 21 as my target!!), for work at home it says it has restricted content (I tried a free survey site, win a free item, a paid survey site, and investment opportunity). My landing pages have had clickbank products, Envyus offers, and MaxBounty offers. It doesn't matter which one I use, they all get declined.

The only one that was accepted was an ebook on how to get your boyfriend/girlfriend back, but it didn't receive many clicks (and no sales) so I shut it down.

I don't know what to do. I've been at the internet marketing game for almost a year and was doing great on Google, but they shut my account down. (which doesn't make sense in an of itself b/c my refund rate was very low and I promoted a very popular product).

Anyway, I'm working on some yahoo things and was trying facebook, but now I'm reconsidering the facebook game. How can they say certain things are prohibited, but every 5 seconds I'm on there, there are ads for how to win a free laptop!

Any insight?

    Well,
when ever you do something online it's always good to read rules , regulation and terms , conditions. That will always keep you in safe side.
From facebook you can get highly targeted visitors as facebook knows every single details about peoples. So I think you should also try to restart your advertisements in facebook.
But this time go through all of their their documents and then only make your ads.

That's just how Facebook is - you're going to have to get used to it.

Make sure you read the terms & conditions well - and ask your affiliate managers for help on what offers are doing well on Facebook.

Since the ad approval process is manually done by their employees - it can depend on who reviews your ads. Sometimes you'll submit one ad and it'll get approved - and the SAME ad will get declined the next day.

You just have to keep resubmitting - and you could try to email affiliates@facebook.com if you aren't running anything shady.

Thanks, i've cooled down a little bit. I agree that it seems to be different people reviewing it each time. One of mine was approved, but then it got like 6000 impressions and just stopped for the day. It was never disapproved.

As for the types of offers I'm trying out -they seem to be legitimate offers.

I read facebook's guidelines and don't feel like any of it should have been declined. I've had a lot of people, including one of my affiliate managers tell me some "free to sign up" offers are doing well, but they were declined when I put the same ones up citing that it is due to it being a "free product". Is it possible that it's the text I'm using in my ads? Because why would they decline one and approve the oher ad promoting the same thing?

I'll try a few more things... We'll see.

Just keep trying different offers and re-wording your ads. I tried a few and they kept getting denied and I finally found the formula and they have all be accepted since. I haven't found facebook to be very profitable, but I know there are people out there that make a ton of money with them so its worth trying. Good luck!

    Hi Onlinelupe,

It might be better to create a facebook fan page around the demographics of your offer. Use facebook ads to get exposure to your facebook bage ... build it to say 100 to 300 fans giving it time to go viral ... and then post your cpa offers that way.

It might be an easier fit because Facebook is about social interaction and value ... if you're engaging in social activity and "promoting" social activity via facebook ads it just might be a work around for you.

    Best of luck,

    Kendra

I picked up a great Facebook WSO a few months back - for a few bucks it helps to learn from someone who has had great success with FB ads instead of blundering blindly into it

I think it was called "Facebook Domination" but I would have to check on my other computer

Persistence is key to advertising on Facebook. It can get really frustrating having all your ads disapproved one day, but then submitting them again the next day with a minor change can get them all approved.

You can always get a ad approved with a very basic informational page, no sales pitch but be in control of the domain with GoDaddy, have it mask forwarded. After the ad is approved, you can change the mask forward with Godaddy. Facebook won't pick up the change in the URL because it was all done in GoDaddy and you won't need to get ad approved again.
