E-Mail Submit/Zip Submit offers works the best.

Zip and email submit - I recently ran several youtube videos, sent them to a viral script, and was very lucky to get the concept viral, and cashed in o0n facebook app installs!

As others have already said, chances are that email/zip submits will perform well. People on YouTube are not looking to buy anything, so it eliminates the free trials and CPS offers. They are also moving fast from one thing to another, when a video ends YouTube immediately suggests other similar ones, so the long forms would be too much for their patience.

I dont necessarily agree with this. I have done well with higher payout offers and my best video campaigns were just that. The problem with simple submit and youtube is that the click through rate (people checking your domain) and then the conversion rate (those that then go to fulfill the action) typically stink for videos, so you really need a ton of views to do damage. Then with simple submits, there is a huge scrubbing factor, combined with the fact that you may have to add some bridges, thus diluting the traffic even more. At the end of the day, you are doing all this for a $1 payout offer.

What has worked well for me, was creating a marketing message that is creative enough to get people to each checkpoint along the way and then getting them more interested at each checkpoint. At the end, a mid-higher payout offer gets me less conversions but more profit because of the much higher payout.

So I would personally rather work to get that perfect marketing message to convert on the higher paying offer than try and get 10-20 (or more with scrubbing) tims the conversions with a lower paying submit offer.

Everybody has there own plan, but thats what I did and it worked!

As another tip, at the end of your video, let the domain slide run really long so that the user doesnt see the related videos pop up right away. Or switch to a blank slides for 10 seconds to achieve the same end.

Man this is a really great info...Thanks Kenster...But the free trial offer restricted for certain country like USA but youtube is the whole world audience n viewer...is that a big prob Kenster?or is that mean a ton of video need to be uploaded for example 40 videos per day consistently..

because the newbie need to get passive income from video and then they will be moving to a more skilled method like ppv,seo wordpress or media buying..i'm a newbie!..;-)

That is a problem. There are international offer on most networks so take a look at them and also take a look at the default redirect of the bizz opp offer you want to do. International traffic may automatically be redirected to another bizz opp offer for non-US visitors, so then its really not a big deal

          Good luck CPAing

        Ken,

How many steps do you use?! My guess is that most people either:

        1) Send them from the video to a landing page and then to the CPA offer, or...

        2) Redirect from the video to an offer.

Side note: Is it OK to redirect to a generic URL that you use for multiple offers (in subfolders) with YouTube --OR-- do you have to use a separate domain for each offer (like with EzineArticles.com)?

Why are you running them through so many "checkpoints"?

Depends on the campaign. Many networks dont like direct YT traffic, so its sometimes good to put two steps to essentially turn the YT traffic into some other form of traffic, be it email traffic, web traffic, whatever.

The other thing to consider is that YT traffic is general is hard to convert. People dont want to be sold something directly from YT, so you put some checkpoints in to convince them in a very subtle manner. Even if its getting them to opt in and then a creative email series.

For CPA in general, the more steps you put in front of a user, the less money you will make, but with some traffic like video that inherently converts like crap, thats when pre-selling is critical and may involve a few steps. This can be the combination of landing pages, splash pages, email responders.

When you say many networks don't like direct YT traffic does this mean it's against the rules and the network will scrub your leads if you've had direct conversions from Youtube videos? As i gather that they monitor the source of traffic from each conversion.

That's an impossible question, what you need to do is figure out the video you are doing, find out the demographics that would view that video, then try to select an offer based on that

zip/email submits are horrible with youtube, in fact they're horrible in general, anyone making $50 a day with an email submit could probably be making $150 a day promoting something else.

John. No prob. The point is finding ways to work WITH a traffic source to fit your goals. Working within the parameters is generally a better option than working around them!

ANY type of offer can convert with Youtube Marketing. Adsense, Affiliate marketing and CPA offers, you just need to know HOW?

The thing about Youtube is that its such a wide traffic source, its pretty much the same thing as a search engine. You get people looking for entertainment, but more and more people are looking for information just like a search engine.

You can taget people based on the titles and keywords you use.

So you can convert pretty much any CPA offer (just like you would if Adwords PPC was free) but of course some will work better than others.

Try any lead generation type of offer. Also you could experiment with Pay per call offers

You can't really say. It all depends on the type of offer. For example, if you have a video about the economy falling apart you might want to promote credit offers.

It all depends on the market and target audience.

i'm running some free ipad and free iphone 4 offers on youtube right now. I'm just redirecting the traffic to the offer page. I've been getting a conversion on about every 50 views or so.
