Free Web Hosting with PHP, MySQL and cPanel, No Ads

This is a good option, because they don't display ads on your site.

However, consider getting a credit card, you will probably need one to make some money.

Hi warrior, my contribution to your question is that why are you not find a paid web hosting that is cheap enough to get your website host, because if you really looking for free webhosting it is possible to get but at long run it may not be a reliable one. so why not find a cheap paid web hosting and host your domain and have a rest of mind as run your internet biz. so my advise for you is to find a paid hosting!

Paid hosting is really really cheap and with a little bit of bum marketing you can pay back your hosting for the whole year in no time. Literally one conversion of a free trial offer will pay back 6 months of hosting.

But, if you do want to go free, in addition to the above, you can try

    Free blog sites
Free social media sites (facebook fan page etc)

It really depends on what you want to do and what traffic you are hitting.

    Best of luck CPAing buddy!

I started just making free blogs and websites, and it is possible to become successful, but you are limited. You will need to invest some money eventually.

If you aren't willing to invest $0.01 in your business, then you probably wont take it very far!!

Even $5 a month...try starting any other business for that.

I literally plowed every penny I made back into my business for the first few months online. I didnt spend a single penny on myself. Thats how I built my business fast and successful.

You can by by paypal (assuming paypal works in India)

But yeah, a free blog will work fine for now. Just do some bum marketing to your free blog to get some money into your paypal account and then you can pay for the traditional hosting from there

    Best of luck CPAing

The one I've seen recommended several times, that doesn't have a lot of downtime, is advertising-free, doesn't put any "get your free website" button on your site, or anything like that, is Free Hosting, Paid Hosting, Reseller Services & VPS Servers : Byet Internet . I know marketers who've been using it for 3 or 4 years with no adverse incidents at all, and recommend it.

Be very wary of "free blog hosting" like wordpress.com and Blogspot: there are always terms and conditions, they can suddenly change, and you're not in control of your own site in such places.

The way things are with IM as I learned, Google's free CDN hosted sites should be great

http://sites.google.com/ (wiki or html sites very fast and free no ads whatsoever and you can set it up with you domain with email + calendar + docs + godknowswhatnot)

    http://www.blogger.com (again owned by google)

there is google app engine but lets leave that out, its way too techie to be useful right now.

TO all warriors. I know its easy to say just get paid hosting, but for someone starting out who may not even be eligible for a credit card I give them "incubation" ideas. When i started someone gave me free hosting on their reseller account. I subsequently gave free hosting to student societies (paid from my pocket actually) Nowadays I just point them to the right direction. If they have the will to do something they can and will make the most of it. If not, at least you wont regret wasting your time.

so to Koolestnerd. I hope WF is helpful to you, and wish you all the best.

Agreed. I was just offering the idea of doing a quick bum marketing campaign to get a few bucks into your paypal account and then you can pay for paid hosting.

As mentioned above, its less than $1 to get your first month of hosting, so you can do some bum marketing, convert a few email submits, and then be able to do some bum marketing.

At the end of the day, its just sooo freaking awesome that you can build a successful online business without a credit card and without ever spending a penny of investment capital.

          >.< no don't use that co.cc .

They will shut it down very fast. They don't have a clear philosophy on whats right and what not allowed, they just randomly shut you down.

if you just want a subdomain with ad free hosting go to 110mb.com
heck just use blogger.com they give you subdomain too.

You should really opt for a paid yet more reliable host, free web hosts can be extremely unreliable.

You can still get a Paypal account going without a credit card.

You could hook your actual bank account up to it - and if you need money you can do some work in the Warriors for Hire section and people can pay you via Paypal.

Here in the US you do not need a credit card as KC mentioned. Linking to a bank account works just fine. Maybe its different in India, but its a valid option and I did read the post.

Take one day to write a few articles for people and Voila, you can probably pay for a whole year of professional hosting. Heck, you might even be able to pay for a year of reseller hosting and not only have hosting for yourself but then charge others for hosting...be your own hosting company essentially.

I would not normally recommend free hosting, support at most of them is non-existant
but here are a few very good providers, I mean good solid and reliable. They encourage newbies in the hope they will eventually convert to paid customers.

0bones.com - Start a free website on the social webmaster community. User rated content

Bravenet - Web Hosting, Free Web Hosting and Web Tools

go search google for "free hosting" you'll find thousands, also google "free blogs" you'll find millions. what more do you want?
    Seek and you will find!!!

If you are just using to redirect, you can try a domain shortener. Plus your affiliate link into TinyURL or something like that and voila. There are similar shorteners that looks more legit, but most of them look much more legit than an egly affiliate link!

    Yes Danny,

What I love about online business, is that you can actually do it for next to nothing or very close to that, its pretty facinating actually.

Its also great to start with little to no money because it forces you to be creative, and getting yourself in this habit of creative thinking will take you far in the industry. As this thread illustrates, there are ways of being creative to get around problems. From my understanding, the OP went 2 years without really getting serious into his/her business becauase he/she didnt have a credit card and thus couldnt get hosting. But, with a little creativity, we discovered it can be done for free. Sure you can use free hosts, but those are normally garbage. You can also do a little freelance work one day and get enough money into your paypal account to pay for hosting for a few months. Or you can use a social networking site to host your landing page or use a simple domain shortener redirect.

At the end of the day you dont have to be a millionaire or even have any significant money at all to make it in this business, just a good work ethic and good bit of creativity!
