Whats with Peerflys offers??

When I look at some of peerflys offers such as win free gift cards, consoles, surveys and such I find that each one you click on, it takes you to the win a new ipad question.

I'm like, that makes no sense seeing how a win an ipad question has nothing to do with gift cards, consoles, etc.

I find that ALOT of lead offers on peerfly take you too the win ipad question and ALOT of the offers have nothing to do with winning an ipad.

Any insights why this is?

Don't you think if a customer who wanted to win a certain gift card went to a page that showed, try to win a ipad, that they would just back out cause that's not what they want?

It's a geo redirect. Where are you from?

And you get redirected to a canadian offer because you click on one which is only for the US (or UK or anything other then Canada)

thats crappy, I looked at the canadian offers and theres not many that look like good converting offers. There's not much for lead offers anyways.

Just because the offers are only viewable in the US doesn't mean that you can't promote it.

Exactly, you can promote FROM anywhere, you just have to promote TO somewhere. If its a US offer, you can promote it from an igloo in Antartica, but make sure you are promoting it where there is a majority of US traffic. If you are doing PPC and some other traffic sources, there are ways to only target US traffic.

    BTW,

Go through a proxy to view it as if you were a US visitor.

Yeah - like everyone said you're getting geo-redirected.

You can search around for proxies or use a VPN service like Overplay.net -- High quality VPN servers -- FAQ

We're working on an auto screen shot feature so publishers can view the LP without even going to the page, no matter the country.

    Stay tuned.

Use a proxy or simply send an email to your affiliate manager and he will provide you a screenshot of the landing page.

I prefer to use the proxy so that I don't bother my aff managers, but, sometimes, the page displayed is not the actual page that I'll promote, so I have no choice.

If its not the geo-ip filter (which it sounds like it is) it could also be that the offer was expired by the advertiser and the network hasn't pulled it down yet, and when the advertiser disabled the offer it was just redirecting to a generic offer (usually an email submit) as to not waste any traffic.
