MediaTraffic or LeadImpact? If I have $200 budget to start PPV

Hey
In these days, I start to learn about PPV. Last few weeks, I used Adwords to promote my cpa blogs. So far I could earn 150-200% with respect to invested money. But I know that PPC is not a good one which trigger landing pages as ads bridges. So I plan to start with PPV.
I heard TrafficVance as the best one. But it needs $1000 minimum. I don't like to spend that amount at the beginning.
So what's the best one for me. I can start it with $200-300. I use Maxbounty and Peerfly as networks.

MediaTraffic or LeadImpact?

Thanks

Why do u invest such a huge investment. Try adbrite you can start $0.10 for 1000 views. You can search and choose your a site after analyze alexa traffic and so on. I am doing adbrite for my cpa offers - mobile ringtone offers - I am spending $1.00 for 10000 views.

    If you like it try....

i wont encourage you to try leadimpact as their service currently is not up to par especially when it comes to keyword approval. My latest campaign that i set last weekend only get approved after almost a week.

It's probably because you haven't spent quite a large sum of money with them yet. My keywords got approved less than 24 hours. But I must admit, Lead Impact website is really slow right now, and the quality of their traffic has been decreasing. It's been a long time since LI representative jumped on the discussions. Hope he/she would clarify one or two things about LI.

Thanks for the suggestion. I heard that one in another source. What are the good PPV networks for you?

Yes, trafficvance is my final target in PPV after I get an experience with PPV and good ROI.

Today I'm thinking to change my mind. Because lead impact is loading very slowly. That's not a good start.
Please advice me? I need to test PPV at least for a month.

For Leadimpact I have experienced daily budget overshoot by almost 2X for campaigns. Looks like their system is not as good as others in terms of controlling the budget. Also some URL/keyword has sudden increase in volume which causes what I mentioned above.

It seems LI is not good to start PPV. Now I think about MT.

I'm afraid MT is a scam. 30-40% of impressions that I was charged for didn't appear in my tracking or landing pages. Mention this to MT and they blamed my tracking, server, the weather, my grandparents.....you get the picture. They seem to be run by foreigners to the US that dont give a **** about our money. Stay clear I say.

By the way, $200 isnt a big budget at all for PPV. Expect to spend $1,000s before you find what works and what doesn't. Testing isnt cheap anymore online for real traffic in 2010. Ive already spent well over 20 grand with TV. PPV is a tough game. You have to check your stats all day like day trading. No days off. No more free weekends unless you stop campaigns.

Its far easier to build some good sites, get ranked in Google and get free traffic for your offers. And build a mailing list.

Good luck fellas. You'll need it with PPV.

I agree with Bond to some extent, PPV testing sucks a lot of money, and you have to watch it all the time if you want to continue to exand your income. My goal in this game is recurring income so I can take 6 months off and still get paid. The work I have done is still bringing in money on autopilot though, so that is a good aspect of PPV.

I have begun the seo game now, it seems to be more long term if done correctly!

I'm doing SEO and got success. But I need to scale it. All marketers have a goal to scale the income.

MediaTraffic requires $1K minimum to start, so you can forget about that with a budget of $200. You can try to search other PPV or CPV networks, which doesn't need a high minimum budget to start with, like Adbrite, Clicksor, DirectCPV, and many more.

What? The minimum deposit is $200 USD in mediatraffic.

I'm currently running on MT. Let me clarify a couple things...

First, minimum deposit is indeed $200.

Now in terms of quality, it all comes down to what you want to run. Their audience comes from people downloading screensavers, you figure it out.

Their interface does suck, but what annoys me more is perhaps the fact that while you can easily overbid things within your campaign target settings, that won't necessarily get you volume. You have to run a separate Target Outbid report from the left sidebar and then you'll find that your REAL bidding competition is against people bidding on stupid ****, like $.25 for ".org" (not kidding). I wouldn't be surprised if MT themselves set some of these bids because I don't know who would be stupid enough to bid that much for something like that. So basically unless you outbid what is listed in the target outbid report, you'll only get a fraction of the available traffic.

Now, that said, the lower volumes can actually be helpful for beginners. The minimum daily spend for a campaign is $10 and I don't have a single campaign yet that even comes close to that. So while I'm finding it difficult to scale anything, it has given me time to test my tracking (Bevo) and make sure it is setup properly and try out a couple things. Not to mention I've already made a decent ROI (profit of about $10, so yeah...nothing to really go on).

The other thing that bugs me is the reviews...they only review new destinations during the work week, and new targets go live after like an hour or two 7 days a week (supposedly).

But if you want to get your feet wet with PPV, it aint a bad place to start.

PPV is pretty tough to get moving on that low of a budget. I've had a lot more success on LI then MT but at the same time LI has been going downhill lately.

With that budget it's basically a coin flip - either one will work for you to run some tests - but you're unlikely to come out with much.

Mediatraffic has given me junk traffic and the referring url is all spam. The worst PPV I have come across is MT, cant imagine why some people talk good about it.
Lead Impact has converted the best, but lately all conversions have gone down drastically.

My vote goes to Lead Impact over Media traffic, but you may want to consider Direct CPV as well. Lead Impact has a lot of traffic and it comes in fast. You will definitely blow through your $200 budget fairly quick.

Depends on your offer and your landing page quality. Also if your optin form is too long that can also cause the lack of opt-ins.

    Hello Guys!

i've started with directcpv and had some good results (and conversions).

I've opened an account on lead impact but i saw that

"Targeting the URL or any term found in the URL of the offer you are promoting is prohibited in our system"

i need to target the url of the offer i'm promoting like in directcpv.

Do you know another ppv network that works like directcpv??

    thank you!

I started learning about CPV last week as a new person to CPA and Cpv,

      Here is what i did
Lead Impact > Direct Linking (to test). Lost money however the traffic is consistent and large, so it's easy to test quickly and remove bad urls and keywords!

I started with a $200 budget and I still have about $110 in that account after testing a few things. I can say the interface is super easy to use and the traffic is super fast like 1300 views or more. Once I start breaking even I will scale it to using DirectCpv as that interface seems super easy to use as well.

I was going to test Media Traffic but now I think ill pass, Thanks to this forum thread..

If you starting out CPV then I suggest you try out Direct CPV before moving on to other networks. When you get your campaigns profitable then you can move onto other platforms and duplicate what already works.

I agree it's not easy, but nothing is. You will lose money first but if you test and test I bet you will get results and make money

Look guys.....you must research your target audience before you run anything!

and a big tip for you... don't bid for first place position unless you already have a profitable campaign!

I Just stated cpv, and after 40$ spent on leadimpact I've made 16$ from a couple of campaigns.

My advice would be to test on lower traffic more targeted sites.

Its kind of the brutal truth, but you just have to get out there and spend. Of course split test and track like crazy. Start out going for the gems, a ton of targeted urls that go for the minimum price.

Most people start with PPV because of low bids per click compared to PPC, but most of them will get frustrated at first. PPV is not that easy to make it work. You should always try to track and test your campaigns too
