Meltdown on CPA interview

Just had a phone interview with Nevblue and it didn't go well. And I think the problem was I was too honest. It pretty much ended when the interviewer asked me how I was going to market. I mentioned offline classifieds,flyers and a little online marketing classifieds. He mentioned they do not specify in offline marketing and that I needed to take affiliate courses online.

I have a ton of experience in failing marketing online. Honestly I was never good at promoting something that required a Credit card. But I sure can promote a zip code submit or an email submit

After all the reading I've done on here and a great ebook I purchased, I've come up with some crazy out of the box ideas on how to make serious money online. The only thing I need is to get accepted into a CPA company.

I've seen a couple of threads on here where some people that have had zero experience never had a problem getting accepted into a CPA company. How did they manage that?

And feedback would be greatly appreciated.

    I got accepted by saying: "I will be promoting offers through my website (true) I currently get traffic from the US, Canada, UK and a few European countries (true) I have no experience promoting CPAs but I have made some money from adsense (true)."

    If you don't have your own site. Get one! It's only $0.89 for a .info domain for a year at godaddy. Get some free hosting. I know a lot of people frown on that, but in my experience free hosts like weebly, yola, blogspot etc. are fine for low volume--which is exactly what you start out with.

    Set up a simple site based on a market not an offer (read this thread) with google analytics (so you can prove where your traffic if coming from if needed). Then start promoting your site through online classifieds, articles, whatever, stick to the free stuff.

    After a week or so you'll have some numbers to talk about (or show) to any CPA network you want to apply to. You'll also have some experience in knowing whether the marketing methods you plan to use will actually pull traffic.

      I have a webs freesite with weight loss products listed on it. I would think it would be accepted.
