Do I need my own landing page, &, domain for CPA?

I was wondering could I just place a CPA link in an email, or, post link in blog comments etc. without having to build a website, or, create my own blog?

I mean if I want to do CPA white hat wouldn't it be ok to do it this way? No fake refferrer, redirects, and, all that.

Can you? Sure thing... should you, probably no.

Think about this. You are getting an opportunity to create a relationship and make repeat sales to a customer.

There are many theories on this, but coming from an article marketing train of thought I would want to be capturing names and email addresses so I can continue marketing to them.

Instead of me explaining this half-assed, I'm going to refer you to an excellent post which will make it very clear:

Kev's post is BRILLIANT! Then continue to read through the entire thread. He also gives you a link to this thread:

    Which is very good, too.

      Thanks for the great information.

Will save me and others a great deal of time (and/or money)

    I think you can.

However, I agree with KansasDragon. I don't think you will make any money this way. If you want to make decent money promoting CPA offers you need an organized and efficient structure. It includes your own website(s) / blog(s) / landing page(s) and a solid traffic generations system.

There are many effective methods out there, both free and paid, just choose something that fits your budget and skills and start working hard. Posting links on comments will not make you any money, since you will need more than just a "spammy" comment to convert your traffic.

Not all networks require it (at least mine doesn't). I think it's actually kinda stupid considering a lot of affiliates direct link campaigns from traffic sources.

You don't need your own landing pages, or even your own domains for that matter.

However - I've always found that taking shortcuts isn't the best way to make money.

You should at least get your own domain setup so you can host tracking and redirects. You can definitely direct link certain offers, depending on your traffic source so landing pages aren't entirely required.

Another good reason to at least have your own domain for redirects is if/when the offer goes down you can switch to another one instead of losing all those links you worked so hard to build.

You don't NEED either, but they will dramatically increase your chances of success
