Set My New Goal $1000 a day

Hey everyone just set myself a new goal $1000 a day revenue.

Spoke with my affiliate manager at Neverblue last night and mentioned I had entered the Out Of Bounds competition they are running over there, for anyone who doesn't know basically its a competition to win a all expenses paid trip to Cancun Mexico.

Anyway my affiliate manager said the best chance I have is for me to get one of the spots in the top 7 incremental increase Publishers, he says to be in with a chance I should be doing 1k a day consistantly.

So that's it that's the goal Im doing about $300-400 revenue now so need to tripple my efforts just using social traffic at the minute, any suggestions to ramp things up would be welcome paid or free traffic

Just think it good to have a goal and even if I dont make it to Cancun the extra effort is gonna increase my overall profit

Yeah this is definatly an option have done a little search before.

Currently Im looking forward to msadcentre/yahoo search alliance that might be interesting. Have had small success with msadcentre and am still running 1 offer offer over there now which is a clickbank product the conversions are there but just no volume

I'm really impressed with your statistics using Neverblue, when I was using them I never got anywhere near that to be honest.

Good luck with reaching your target.

    Hey Man, thats awesome!!

One thing I will suggest is that you make sure you are still focusing on your bottom line as opposed to your top. I can assure you that you can get to $1000 revenue tomorrow if you wanted, but the point is to get there and still have a solid bottom line. For example, making $1,000 rev a day and having $900 costs is worse than making $300 rev a day with $50 costs.

I have been to Cancun many times (mostly spring break in my younger adult years) and you can get a weeks vacation at a 5* all inclusive for a grand. Its not worth destroying your bottom line to get to the 1k a day just to get the vacation.

You're a smart guy and I'm sure this is all stuff you know already so I'll shut up now!!!

Yeah true think at that volume though 30+% would be my goal.

Been to Cancun too about 10 years ago its awesome

Would be cool to win something like that but if Im honest the main reason for setting such a big target is I work a lot better if I have a goal to aim to, keeping focused is my main problem, as im sure most will agree

      So thats it now
      NO distractions
      NO telly
      NO xbox
NO facebook when im meant to be working

Time for some good old fashioned hard work

If you are doing PPC on Facebook I think that maybe you can try to expand your efforts to Google content network. Since you're using social traffic I think that it would be easier than going to search.

Anyway, I agree with what Kenster said and I also think that you shouldn't sacrifice too much just to get a chance to win the contest.

As you know, the difference between 300-400 and 1000 a day in PPC is minor tweaks. I bet if you sit down with smaxor, he may give you some insight into what tweaks you can try based on your campaign details. Trmendous volume in PPC so little differences make outstanding changes of the bottom line (for better or worse )

$1000 a day that is $30.000/month so is not easy goal , duplicating your effort will not necessarily duplicate your income..

      Will be a matter of...

      -duplicating efforts
      -scaling efforts
      -finding new efforts

I am a huge fan of the power of numbers and duplication and thats how I got started making money and still a big part of my strategy today. Even if duplication doesnt bring equal results, there is still a lot of power. Let me illustrate.

You do something that makes you $50 a day.
You duplicate 100 times and you likely will not be earning $5000 a day.
But even if your efforts average out to 20% efficiency ($10 a day), you are not making $1000 a day!

The point is that duplication often leads to more and more inefficiency and market cannibalism, but that doesnt mean for a second its not a powerful concept!

I had considered competing for Neverblue's Vancouver trip, but it wasn't worth it for me to switch the majority of my campaigns to them despite some lower payouts. I still love NB, and I get weekly payouts from them.

Regarding the $1,000 goal, it can be intoxicating watching those stats climb past $1,000, but as you know, all that matters is profit. The first time hit $1,000 day in revenue was definitely a milestone, but I'm not even sure if that represented the highest daily profit I'd received at that point.

Of course, if I were a network owner, I might not mind if affiliates were spending $900 to make $1000

Thats a good point. Networks are going to push the revenue side. Of course they want you to make money but they make money from yoru revenue not your net.

On the other hand, all I care about is profit, is the net number. Revenue means garbage if there isnt a bottom line and ROI means crap if you aren't pushing enough volume to make the return mean anythign substantial.

Money in the bank is my ultimate goal, not returns, or revenue numbers, or vacations :p

The strange thing is how quickly you can get accustomed to making a lot more money.

It's just like when I was shopping for a HDTV last week: I walked into the store and saw a beautiful 40-inch TV. I said to my brother that it looked big enough for the living room. After spending time browsing and checking out the huge 60-inch+ TVs, that same 40-inch TV looked tiny on the way out.

Generating money is similar: Once you start generating $1,000/day, and then your campaigns dip back down to "just" 500/day, you feel like you're losing money.

I wish you the all the best in completing your goal.

    Remember...

-Knock it up in small steps, always look back and see where you can improve and do it.
-Keep the focus, but still take small breaks, don't force anything.
-Remember your goal and drive, tell yourself where you want to go away from and where to.
-Have fun, keep your mind sharp and your environment clean.
-If you're ever stuck somewhere, get some fresh point of view from a friend or advisor.
-Work hard and have a solid plan, know exactly where you will get to by doing certain actions.

Just giving some tips that have worked wonders for me, I believe you can do it, you deserve that trip.
