How Do You Advertise on Ask.com?

Hey guys. I'm finding it impossible to sign up to advertise on ask.com. Does anyone advertise on there or has anyone had similar problems? I am going to sponsoredlistings.ask.com as advised but once there all that happens is that the page refreshes if you press 'get started' or the 'advertisers' link. I have already emailed them three times for confirmation on how to go about advertising with them but not heard anything back after 2 weeks. Can anyone shed some light on this for me? Thanks.

    maybe you can ask (type) "how to advertise on ask.com" in their website

    Try to use a different browser. I also had problems to use TrafficJunky and Pulse 360 with IE. Try Firefox.

    Anyway, I have never advertised with Ask, but many people have told me that their advertising system sucks. They also have very low volume.

    Give them a try (it can't hurt!), but don't expect too much from them. :/

    I also had problems when i tried to reach them. eventually i managed to contact an AC their site !!!

    i used them try type 'sponsored listing' at their search engine.

    i have cancelled my account there as the traffic is completely rubbish. I have the same ads and keywords as my overture's account, i get clicks but no conversion. 100bucks down the drain..=(

      I have advertised on Ask.com in the past ( with dismal results ) and they recently sent out an email to all advertisers stating that the Ask Sponsored Listings service will be discontinued at the end of September. They didn't elaborate why, just that it will be gone and any advertiser with funds still in their account will be issued a refund on the card they used to fund the account.

      Ask Sponsored Listings was always very frustrating to work with anyways so consider yourself lucky you didn't have to lose a bunch of money with them.

    I have been advertising successfully on Ask.com for the last 3-4 years, but I have had about 10 failures for every one successful campaign.

    What I find odd Johnaxe is that I got a different message than you with no mention of closing of my account.

    This what I got on Sept 14th that has me excited.

      Hey Gauher,

      That is very odd. Perhaps it's because I haven't really used them for awhile and am not currently spending any money there. Maybe they are only migrating people who have a consistent daily spend with them.

      That kind of sucks. It sounds like from the email you received that maybe they are making changes that could result it better performance and traffic quality. If that's the case I would very much like to do some more testing when the new adcenter comes out.

      Perhaps we should address this issue over in the PPCF forum aswell and see if anyone else is having their accounts closed or moved to a new adcenter.

      I'm wondering if this new adcenter will be private or something?

          Did anyone figure this out? I seem to have the same problem. I've advertised with them for about a year or so and then stopped for several months and now I am not able to refill my account and they aren't getting back to me. I'd appreciate if someone would chime in. Thanks.
