Anyone know about OpenX?

I just know about this platform the other day and today I finished installing it on my host

So basically, Openx is an adserver platform with people can buy impression from various ad sellers? I'm trying to read the FAQs page, but the more I read, the more confused I feel

oh, and I dont know how to pay for ad either. Most of the time I can find a place where I enter my credit card to pay for the ad impression I buy, but I cant find this on the Ad server

anyone use it here can give me some infos?

Openx is a very nice ad server, but you have to get a plug-in for it to accept a credit card from your ad buyers.

so bascially OpenX is used to sell ads impression only? We can't use it to buy ad space?
