Anyone Doing Good with 7Search?

I've been experimenting with this traffic source, and I'd have to say it's very slow traffic, that seems to be very crappy. It's too hard to make a good decision yet, because it still needs some more testing.

Anyone having any success with this? And if so.. how?

I haven't tried 7Search yet, but it would be good if I can split test my own campaigns there. I'm currently using Bidvertiser now, but still my ads were on pending status. I'm not sure why the traffic there is slow, because of the keywords? Demographics? Etc?
  • The traffic is VERY low quality. But you can still make a little profit. You would have to set up a bunch of campaigns to see a decent amount of money.
  • I used to have some profitable campaigns there - but they weren't worth the time in the end. I spent a lot of time optimizing them for only a trickle of traffic.

It can be a solid source if you have to time launch and manage a ton of campaigns to make up for lack of volume. Lots of low quality too - but profits can be had.

  • I wouldn't spend a lot of time with them. They have very low volume and it's probably hard to make a decent amount of money with them, unless you have many campaigns running simultaneously with a very good ROI.

There are many good PPC platforms out there, so focus on one that has a big potential.

  • 7search is definitely a viable traffic source. I don't make a killing there but my adspend is about $50/day and I generally get around 100% ROI.

You will surely need to launch a bunch of campaigns and just test to find what works.

If you have profitable campaigns on other PPC networks definitely add them into 7search as they will most likely do well there.

Make sure you understand how to use their keyword matching. Personally I always use phrase match when testing and definitely place any obvious negative keywords into the negative keywords section of your campaigns.

Probably the most important thing is tracking. You can place ###KEYWORD### in your destination url in order to pass the bidded keyword to your own reports, but I would also recommend using their pixel. With the pixel placed you can run a keywords report for your campaign and see the actual search for keywords that are converting.

Another tip is to use their own keyword suggestion feature. Be creative and try to find keywords that people aren't bidding on but bring in a lot of traffic.

    Here's a screenshot I just took:

Now you're going to have to think of creative ways to monitize that keyword, and it may or may not work, but the point I'm trying to make is there ar eloads of keywords like this that get tons of traffic with almost no competition and with 7search you can literally bid a PENNY and get that traffic.

    Cheers,

    • I would like to thank each of you for the tests that you have given to 7Search.com. It is my hope to be able to continue working with you provided you find positive results. 7Search.com is the oldest privately owned search engine. We also own a patented technology which deals specifically with traffic quality monitoring and validation as well as surfer intent. We work to eliminate incentivized, roboticized and mechanized clicks. We realize that our overall volume is going to be less than the "big 3" or now 2 for that matter (Google & Yahoo/Bing) but we are currently generating over 3.5 billion searches per month. Perhaps my Top Vertical spreadsheet can allow you to find verticals which are doing well with 7search and are generating more traffic. Our average CPC is well below $0.20. We have conversion tracking capabilities as well as geo-targeting abilities.

I would personally like to discuss this with each of you while reviewing your campaigns individually so that I can offer my assistance. That is one value that can be difficult to achieve from some of the larger engines and smaller ones alike. Our personal approach shows that we are very interested in our clients success.

Please let me know if we could arrange for a short discussion. I can email a copy of our Top Verticals upon request.

  • I have had some success promoting CPA offers on 7Search. Some niches are converting very well, in contrast to other small PPC networks that didn't convert for me at all.
The problem with 7Search is that in most niches the traffic volume is very low.
  • I have tried in the past, didn't have much luck. Low CPC doesn't always mean quality traffic. But I was told of you already have high converting KWs from other networks that you know converts for you, its a good engine to expand.
  • It's very difficult to get profitable with 7search, but if your up for a battle and are good at optimizing it DOES work!

    • Hey RyanEagle, we appreciate the kind words. If you have any questions about our interface or tools that are given to you please let me know. I would be glad to share some information with you.
  • I guess you guys should try it out yourself. 7 search offer some free credit to start.
Only you can judge it yourself. I guess if you are weak in PPC, you cant get your offers converts anywhere..
    Good luck.
