VERY confused - Adon Network

This one has me totally stumped, hoping someone has a clue....

I've got 2 test campaigns running on Adon. Both are reporting good traffic according to their stats but I'm seeing no hits on Prosper (the pop-under being displayed should trigger a hit on Prosper). At first I thought maybe click fraud or a Prosper issue but I dug deeper.

If I click the URL in the Adon campaign settings, it works AOK and I see the hit register in Prosper. Also, their auto bot that checks landers also triggers hits in Prosper once every 3 hours. So I know the URL is working.

So I checked my AWStats and both the campaign URLs are listed as 404's and all of the hits are listed as error hits. But if I copy the URL's direct from the AWstat error logs, they work perfectly. Can anyone explain this one????

I suggest that you configure back your counter. Maybe you have just missed some option that made the hits void. Examine the counter back.

What kind of hosting are you using? PPV traffic can come in very fast sometimes and if you're using just a cheap shared hosting plan for your tracking and webpages then it's very likely that the problem is your server can't handle the volume and thus is displaying the error message.

Thanks John, the tracker is just on a shared but the traffic isn't coming in fast enough to overwhelm it. I've got another resource intensive site on that same account with 10000 uniques a day and that runs super fast so I don't think that's the prob.
