W-8BEN?
I'm Canadian and looking at filling out a W-8BEN form for a CPA network and generally figured everything out until section III: "I have provided or will provide a statement that identifies those notional principal contracts from which the income is not effectively
connected with the conduct of a trade or business in the United States. I agree to update this statement as required."
In short, not sure if I should tick this off or not. I did do this once before but can't remember how it was filled out....help?
