Hi Steve,

Depends on your offer. TrafficSwarm will get you ok traffic if you're offering something for free.

Test it first. Get their free account. Make a free offer and write a snappy headline.

Be sure to use a squeeze page for your landing page.

Track your results and if you like them, then it might be ok to get a paid account.

For the record, I use them for one of my offers, but I only use a free account.

I've got a free account too and know the traffic isn't the best kind but I've had a bit of luck with opt-ins for a free offer.

I would consider a pro account but haven't used trafficswarm enough to know it would be really worth it. Maybe stick with the free account and see if you can make it work for you for a couple of weeks before you start paying them.

My experience with networks like this is that they're full of folks just like us, people really trying to sell and agreeing to be listed, but not really full of buyers, those are elsewhere.

I have to agree - have been both a free and paid TS member and while I get decent traffic the visitors are not really buyers.

  I think the same. It doesnt nessecaryly mean that it wouldnt work at all. Just think of it: it is called Traffic Exchange and not Interest exchange. Plus I have the feeling its not showing your site to targeted audience. I tried 4 or 5 of them. So far no results. Find something targeted.

I have a pro membership and I think it's worth it.
However , you still need to spend time on clicking.
The difference between pro and free membership is that for the same efforts you will get higher results.
So think what more "expensive" to you?
Another hour to spend each day as a free member or 30$ a month?

I've posted this in some other post, but I'll say it again.

Traffic exchanges are pretty much useless, unless you target the right niche. To be honest, that is very doubtful, for one main reason. People are surfing on those exchanges to earn points, so they can do the same, therefore you aren't connecting with the right niche. You have to find people who are interested in the product itself.

Sites like trafficswarm are usually very low quality traffic.. mostly IM'ers and HYIP people looking for leads and whatnot.. no serious buyers

A thing I want to share about traffic-exchangers.
It's a game of numbers - that's it.
If there are 800K members (with TS) and your page looks very attractive even a ratio of 0.1 is great for your sales.
This is the only reason I use traffic-exchangers.
And I use not only TS , I use 3 more , so my potential market will be bigger.

I track what traffic sources result in sales and signups, not just traffic.

My tracking proves that Traffic Swarm is one of my best and most consistent sources of traffic.

I usually generate a few leads a day with traffic swarm, I wouldnt go pro though free is good enough.

You should focus on other free traffic strategies that are a little more effective and with lasting results

I think traffic swarm is only effective for making money niches. It would be more effective if using squeeze page with catching headline and make them opt in within 20 seconds.

Traffic exchanges, in my opinion are a great way to start out, for a newcomer to internet marketing, but if you want "real money", you shouldn't rely on them...

I only have free membership for Trafficswarm and I think the traffic there is pretty un-targeted, even though I got couples of subscribers from Trafficswarm before.

Clicking to earn creedits is a waste of time. Traffic swarm works if you are sponsorinng people and earning credits. You need to set up many adverts redircting to the same page.

I am the top referrer at Traffic Swarm and have a downline of 50,000+ members (it has taken me 6+ years to accomplish this). As a result I get $500+ in Traffic Swarm commissions every month from referred members who upgraded to Pro membership plus about 2,000 visitors every day which makes me $1,000+ in affiliate commission every month from the products I advertise at TS. Thanks to TS I am also the top referrer at InstantBuzz.com from which I also make money every month in affiliate commissions.

TS has over 500,000 members and hundreds more join every week so there will always be people who can opt-in to your list, buy your products, etc.

Those who say Traffic Swarm doesn't work...it's because they don't have a big downline like me.

I've had reasonably good results with Free stuff and opt-ins with a free account. Yes most of the eyes are people like us, looking for an an edge, but that's not a bad target market for many goods and services.

I have tried both a free and pro account and although I got the traffic, I didn't get any conversions, so for me it wasn't worth it. Out of all the traffic exchanges I have used, it proved to be the least effective.

I've tried the free version, never upgraded to the pro version. It did generate some leads. However, it seemed like my time could have been better spent on other stuff rather than clicking on ads.

I agree with both sides. I'm not sure I would spend money on it unless you have tested it and see some results. Everyone on there is just like you, surfing for credits to get traffic to their site and not really checking anything out.

However, I do have to say, from my own experience, I have done a little of both as far as clicking an ad and minimizing the window until the time expires to click the next, but I have also had some items that have caught my eye and gone to the website and even considered buying.

So make it catchy, use a squeeze page, or have some free offer to get opt-ins to your email list. It may be worth it, not sure.

I like traffic swarm for testing headlines mainly... What I suggest is build a quick loading squeeze page with a killer headline...

Use it to build your email list... Then if you see those leads are starting buy stuff from you when you send out a email then it may be worth going for a pro account...

Google will ban your Adsense account if clicks on their ads are originated from TrafficDuck/Swarm or of similar networks. Giving away freebies is ok with this type of traffic.
