Hi Guys

I would like to try out facebook ad using CPA offers, however I am not too sure where do people get their image ads from, I heard that image is very important, so my question is, do i have to buy the images that I want to post on facebook ppc?

Can't i just search it on google image and take the images I want?

Any good guides- WSO out there that tells you more on how to target demographics as it is important i guess on facebook?

Thank You
Regards
Lina

It's best to purchase stock images from the various sites out there. Since the FB ads are so small, you can purchase the smallest size image (which is also the cheapest). A paid stock image will usually pay for itself after a few conversions (depending on what type of offer/payout you are running), so don't worry about stocking up on some good ones to start testing out.

I would not recommend this. Some photos are copyright protected. It goes against the TOS of Facebook. If you get caught your account will get banned.

No they don't. Most might, but the point is BE DIFFERENT.

Do the same as everyone else, and you get the same results.
      It also breaks F.B's TOS.

This is a great way to get all your accounts banned.

Yes, I don't think you'll be in trouble doing that.

However, if you want to be on the sure side, you can get a free account on Jupiterimages and use the comp with rights for 30 days for free. I doubt your FB ad will have such a long life span so you're safe.

But on Google you find more images.

      Best,

      Marco

You can use Google Images (sometimes it's hard to find a good alternative). However, you can have problems with copyright protected images. So, when you can, use free stock images. Here is a list of sites that you can use to get free stock images:

Wow, that just completely wiped out the biggest thing on my to-do list.. Thanks a lot man.

To add to the conversation, without getting too anecdotal, what are the odds of issues arising from copyrights? Especially from, say, personal images? What's the punishment, generally?

It's really risky to steel photos as it's now so easy with reverse image searches to find out where they came from.

    TinEye Reverse Image Search

Should anybody be so minded it's very easy to establish where these stolen photos came from and to make contact with the owner, the social networks and the advertiser to report them...

I don't like competing against cheaters...you have been warned!

I've received a couple legal notices about images I snagged from Google/Bing, and don't recommend doing that. In one instance the advertiser who owned the offer I was sending traffic to received a law suit threat, which ended up getting me kicked off the offer and not getting paid.

I'd stick to buying stock images. They're cheap and not worth the headaches of doing otherwise.

Or you can go to old photo sharing sites where people upload photos that they've forgotten about by now. Thats all I'll say

Honestly, I would buy a stock photo or *big hint* USE ONE OF MY OWN (Logo, etc.). Nuff said.
