I added infolinks to my site the other day after seeing a post prasing it. So far the CTR is about what i expected it to be but im getting paid a few cents per click. I wont say specifics but its about 1/16 of the amount that I get from adsense. Its only been up for 4 days, but has anyone else has experiance with them? Also can the outbound links affects ur rankings? i'm starting to wouner if its worth it?

Thanks for your time,

    • Haha, in my experience i had used many ppc content ad networks and seeming that google adsense is the best around.
    • AdSense is the most expensive on the advertiser side, so I think that it's profitable for publishers.

  • I used infolinks for some months with one of old pr 2 blog. But as I didn't make a fair amount of money so I deleted them.It seems making $100 here for payout is much more difficult then adsense.
  • Hey Netboom,

This is Jonathan from Kontera. If your not happy with your current In-Text provider, you might want to give our network a try. Kontera is the leading In-Text network with over 15,000 publishers and 140 million unique users per month.

Thanks to our Synapse algorithm, we're able to offer Topical Targeting, which rather than just scanning for keywords like competitors do, it reads your content for actual meaning. That's how we're able to provide the most relevant ads for your content, leading to higher CTR and better CPC.

Additionally, Kontera also features an exclusive ad inventory from some of the biggest brand names in the world including Microsoft, L'Oreal, Nintendo, Ford, Blackberry, Oreo, National Geographic, HP, and more. These premium, often Rich-Media ads are the most attractive to site visitors, offer the best possible CPC, and can only be found on the Kontera network.

Also, while I can't promise your earnings will match AdSense, with Kontera it doesn't matter. Because Kontera and AdSense are displayed in completely different parts of a webpage, they don't cannibalize each other's ad click, meaning using both networks will only ad to your overall revenue.

If your interested in joining Kontera, we're currently offering a 70$ revenue share, which is the best rate in the industry. We're also offering a $50 bonus to any publisher who makes at least 25,000 U.S. page views during their frist 30 days on the network. We also offer a low $50 minimum payout threshold across all payout methods.

    Thanks,
  • Wow, it's quite cool that infolinks and kontera are members of WF.
