Plan of Action part 2

Hi all,

Well after my warning from google. I have decided to make some slight tweaks to my plan of action and im after your opinions.

1. Find CPA offer trial type. Not all hype like make money fast. (dont wont my account banned)

2. MAke website. Privacy policy, few backlinks, pad out with WProbot.

3. Create landing page attached to site.

Drive traffic with PPC.

On this page it will be an email capture optin.

Question: Does this have to be double optin or single?

4. Set up autoresponder to email the client.

Question: Does the email in the eyes of your AM become an email campaign? Or still PPC.

Question: If an email campaign. I have seen a compression file which needs to be used what is this?

Do you email the customer the offer link. Or do you hype/sell it a little more?

5. Watch the money roll in. lol if only it was that easy.

With the email list I will keep track and try to sell other offers related to the same vertical.

Just a couple of things off the bat. First off, I would recommend branching out a bit to AdCenter, perhaps some of the Teir 2 options for PPC. Google is simply insane at times, so I wouldn't put all of your eggs in that basket.

    2. - For your website, the standard (Privacy, About, Contact, etc) plus plenty of unique content is good. Especially for google. If this is a blog post every couple of days, if not, you can incorporate a news or blog element and post every couple of days. Again, from the Big G's perspective, they want unique, quality sites for the searchers.

Backlinks are good, book mark the site and inner pages, build some backlinks, etc.

    3. - Regarding your PPC landing page being a squeeze page. There are differing opinions. I personally haven't had any issues yet, but I can't speak for anyone else. So from my perspective yes you can do this. However if you are worried, you can always link to other pages and make sure you have plenty of in-your-face ways for the users to get to your squeeze page from there. You can test both for results.

Personally I always use a double opt-in. It helps from a spam perspective but also for helping weed out potential tire kickers a bit more. It seems that when a person has to go and make an effort to join the list, they are more likely to convert at some point.

    4. The offer is being promoted via e-mail only if you are using the e-mail links/banners, etc and linking to the offer from the e-mail, at least in my experience. I've had more than one of my AM's tell me this, but check with yours. If you have an offer that says no e-mail traffic, you can always talk about it in your responder and then write up a review or whatever for it on your site, then link to that page, which would then provide links to the actual offer (so Email>>Review Page>>Offer).

Regarding e-mailing the link or actually selling them, I would always sell. Mix it up in your responder series. Remember, the power of a list is building trust with your members. If you simply start throwing offer links at them, you'll be lucky to get much out of it. Build trust. Send some e-mails with tips, free content, etc. Throw in some soft sells here and there (some do this more often than not). Then every so often send out a hard sell.

Put yourself in the members shoes. Are you more likely to click through and by/try something if someone simply shoots the offer to you and says 'hey this is awesome check it out!' Or would you be more inclined to try the offer from the person who sends you e-mails fairly regularly, often sending interesting, useful information, and talking about some great offers here and there, explaining their benefits, his opinions, etc?

    Hope this helps!
    Danny
